Blazing Winds Zuko X reader

Avatar day!

OK! I'm making an Avatar Au for Zuko and Y/n it's different in a lot of ways please check it out via link i will (hopefully) add

Y/n POV:

we were all camping doing our ushual stuff sokka sharpinging his boomerang when suddenly we were attacked by you guessed it the fire nation. we fled on Appa but we had to leave Sokka's boomerang.

"No we need that!" sokka yelled. but we were already soaring away.

later we arrived at a small town, and bought some food.

"hey are you kids going to avatar day?" the man selling food asked.

"there's an avatar day?" Aanga sked his eyes lighting up.

"Oh yes there is!" The man told us. we were all pretty excited as we went to the area with the festival.

"Hey that's avatar Roku" I pointed out seeing a big float of him.

"and there's kyoshi" Katara noticed another float, then came Aang.

"that's the biggest me I've ever seen!" Aang exclaimed.

we watched with wonder as a man with a torch. then looked with horror as he set the floats on fire.

Aang jumped up really high and put out the flames with his bending gasps and murmurs filled the area as they saw Aang, for whatever reason they were scared.

"It's the avatar! He's here to kill us" They yelled.

"what no I'm not!" aang shouted.

"I find that hard to swallow considering what you did in your past life!" Their leader said.

"oh yeah what could he have done?" I asked.

"It was avatar Kyoshi she killed our great leader Chin the great!"  he continued. "the avatar should face justice!" He yelled.

"I'll face justice" Aang confirmed. 

"You'll need to follow all our rules including paying bail." The leader explained. Aang agreed then we found out they don't take water tribe money so into Jail Aang went.

"Aang we really sholuldn't stay here" I told him.

"But I need these people to see the truth about what the avatar is!" Aang said. I sighed.

"they'll see when we defeat the fire nation" Sokka tried to convince him.

"Please just help me prove my innocence." Aang pleaded.

"How?" Katara asked.

"I don't know I guess I just thought Sokka was some kind of master detective" Aang said in hopes he could persuade him to help.

"Hm I did solve quit a few cases" Sokka said proudly.

"yeah back home he was famous for one case" Katara told us

"well solving one for the avatar would help your record I bet" I pointed out.

"Alright I'll help but I'll need some new props" Sokka expalined. we got him a hat thing with an extending monacle and a pipe that blew bubbles.

"Let's go to the crime scene" Sokka told us.

"Ok Aang we'll be back" I smiled.

"Assuming your not captured by Zuko" Sokka jabbed. I gave him a dirty look and we went on our way to the temple the leader of this town explained a very poor story on what happened.

"Kyoshi came out of the temple and struck down Chin the great!" he told us.

"then how is the temple and statue made of the same stone" I asked earning a dirty look from Sokka and the leader. I simply rolled my eyes as a response.

we searched the crime scene and fond no other holes in his story.

"Let's go to Kyoshi island!" Katara suggested.

"Good idea!" I agreed.

"ok Katara and i'll go Y/n stay here." Sokka told us.

"What! why?" I asked.

"becouse someone needs to keep an eye on aang" Sokka lied.

"you think I'm stupid? you just don't trust me!" I accused.

"Darn right I don't! you are a traitor!" Sokka spat back. I froze as his words echoed in my mind. he really believed it too...

I ran off too go find Aang. I wanted to be around him right now. Sokka and Katara flew away on Appa. I hoped Katara would explain to Sokka that what he said wasn't okay but the chances were low. I walked in on a Convestation about Aang's crush on Katara. these other images were a great hype team. I should talk to them too!

"Y/n your back!" aang noticed happily.

"Yep! the others went to kyohsi island." I filled him in.

"your Y/n I'm guessing" One inmate said.

"I am indeed" I told him.

"Take a seat we heard some things" Another said

I sat next to the cage door, and saw them they weren't nearly as intimadating as ZUko was when I first met him and the crew.

"So your dating the fire nation's prince?" the first guy asked. my face went beat red and I nodded my head 'yes'

"You should know his situation than" a third guy said. I looked at them puzzled.

"He's being hunted by the fire nation." They explained, they told me what they've heard apparently the 3rd guy was only recently put here and knew a lot!

"thanks for telling me." I told him with a smile.

"i'm just doing my job" he shrugged. he rolled up his sleeve to reveal a fire nation Tattoo. Aang tensed.

"Son't worry I'm not one of them not anyomore just know everyone keeps their secrets until they're ready and sometimes they never are" He told us we all poused for a moment . "by the way my name's Daniel please keep Rina safe should you see her again" he smiled.

"Waiyt your rina's brother aren't you!!" I yelled.

"That I am" he confirmed 

 we all talked a bit longer told our stories and stuff like that until Sokka and Katara came back. that's when we learned about there "Justice"

"What do you mean it's just the two of you and you deicide who's right" I yelled.

"Careful girl It's the avatar on trial not you!" He said. I scowled but did nothing.

The trial began and Aang did terribly. so Katara pulled some tricks and Aang became Kyoshi and well confesed to killing Chin the great. So Aang spun a giant wheel of punishments he didn't deserve.

"Looks like it's boiled in oil" a guard said.  I felt tears fill my eyes. but I had to wipe them clean fast the wind told me the fire nation was here. I gripped my staff, to prepare. they rushed in on their rhinos.

"SURRENDER THIS TOWN!" they yelled.

"AAH! AVATAR DO SOMETHING!!" The leader yelled.

"I would but I'm supposed to be boiled in oil" Aang replied. The leader turned the wheel to community service. we sprang into action fighting off the soliders. Sokka even got his boomerang back! they remade Avatar day too! now it celebrates Aang saving them. but the food is terrible.

"this is the worst town we've been too" Sokka complained.
