Rescue

Y/n POV:

When I regained Consciousness I Saw Zuko Talking to my brother, he had Aang's staff.

"this will be a great gift for my father. not that you'd know anything about that being raised by monks." Zuko told Aang he Didn't seem to know I was awake. 

"hey we didn't need a father we had each other!" I yelled. He looked over to me.

"Gaurds put her in a cell!" Zuko yelled to his men. I struggled agaisnt their grip, but these men were trained by the fire nation, why'd I think I'd get free. They Through me into a cell near the bottom of the ship.

"Let me out!!" I yelled. i tried to air bend out but more fire came out! "how did This happen..." I wondered. I remembered my air bender training, with monk Gyatso with Aang. I fet rage like never before Aang and I always did things together, that's just how it was.

soon Zuko showed up. his face was serious.

"What do you want" I asked angrily. 

"I want Answers." He said flatly. "how can you be the avatar's sister yet fire bend?" He asked.

"I wish i knew all my life I've been an airbender. If i knew how i got this gift i would tell you." I told him.

"I don't belive you. you have to be lying!" He yelled.

"WHAT WOULD I GAIN FROM LYING ABOUT THIS!!" I Yelled.

"Being an airbender would be great in some places!" Zuko yelled.

"YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HOW AWFUL IT IS TO BE AN AIRBENDER!!" I screamed, i couldn't even tell i was crying "They all say it's the nation of freedom! but there's no freedom involved with my life!" I contineud to yell.

"LIFE'S NOT EASIY BECOUSE YOU'RE FROM  A CERTAIN NATION!!" I finished. He looked suprised he was about to say something else but water started to push us back and forth.

"What's happening?" Zuko asked irritated.

"How should I know This is my first time on a boat!" I exclaimed. I won't lie i was scared as heck.

"You've seriously never been on a boat?" Zuko asked confused.

"Nope!" I freaked out. "unlike Aang I had no clue how to swim there was no water at the temple" I exclaimed. Zuko for the first time looked at me with sympothy not anger. I was a bit confused until an ice spike came out of the floor of the ship. 

"They Must've come to rescue Aang!" I sighed relieved.

"NO! I will not let the avatar escape!" Zuko said before running to the top decks. It took a mineute to realize the water up to my ankles.

"oh spirits no..." i whispered

"HELP HELP!! ANYONE!!" I yelled out calling for help but nothing. NO one could hear me.  I didn't know what to do the water level wasn't increasing by much but i was scared. I Tried to airbend and it worked?? I questioned it but still used it to cut my way out of the cage I ran up the steps almost slipping and saw Aang fighting Zuko.

"Aang!" I yelled Witch was a mistake it distarcted him allowing zuko to hit him. Another ice spike pierced the ship I saw appa flying closer and grab Aang and myself. When we all were safe on appa's back i turned to Aang.

"if i ever try to go on a boat again please stop me." I said jokingly. Everyone chuckled a bit. but Sokka stopped and asked.

"Y/n How did you fire bend?" 

"I don't know" I replied irritated.

"Well you can't show anyone. if you do we'll all be in big Truble." Sokka confirmed.
