Seriously Jet!?

Y/n Pov:

 the next day my mind continued to drift as I watched Aang and Katara train. I thought about how Zuko's crew was more kind than Sokka and Katara combined. I remembered the kiss although I was conflicted, but the kiss told me he cared. I was no prisoner to him, I finally see I was someone he cared about. 

eventually reality hit me in the face, well more accuretly I fell. I tried to bend myself back up. unfortunately I didn't air bend but fire bend. It didn't give enough propulsion to get me back so I still fell.

"crap I hope no one saw that." I whispered as I stood up. I brushed myself off a bit only to hear behind me:

"oh we saw!" I heard Jet behind me. I swiftly turned and saw the rageful freedom fighters.

"I can explain!" I bluffed. I still had no clue why I could bend two elements. I knew they wouldn't listen. these guys hated the fire nation. Sokka's story was right.

(Flash back)

"he attacked an old man" Sokka told us.

"Yeah right he's a great guy!" Katara defended

"yeah they just have a different way of living! A way more fun way!" Aang chirped

"I'm telling you!" Sokka warned.

(End of flash back)

"explain what you're from the fire nation aren't you!!" Jet yelled. 

"No I'm not! I was born in the air temple!" I explained, but it fell on deaf ears.

"you'll pay for what your nation's done!" Jet spat.

the group surrounded me. I was getting nervous as I clutched my staff. I remembered what Zuko taught me. 

"you need to act fearlessly in battle otherwise they'll get the upper hand" Zuko's words echoed through my head.

"you wanna fight?" I questioned I tried to be intimidating and it worked they hesitated. I already knew I'd win now. "trust me it would get ugly." I said menacingly. Jet signaled them to continue. then he just left. they closed in around me, but Zuko taught me a great truck for this.

I kicked low spreading fire out all around me knocking them back. Smaller Bee came up with a huge log. I jumped using my air, which somehow worked then I dashed down with my fire burning the log to nothing and hitting smaller bee. he fell over unconscious. everyone else charged at me. Their form was terrible though, so a bunch of fire punches took them out. 

I then unfirelled my staff and flew to find Aang, Sokka, and Katara. 

"where are they!?" I exclaimed as I ran through the empty base. no one was here! I looked over to try and see them I was a huge dam a resivoir and a town. this was the earth kingdom town the fire nation took. I heard some form of bird whittle?? and a huge bomb went flying to the resivoir.

"WHAT THE HECK!?" I yelled I flew to the village only to have a huge wave thrown at me. it was from the reservoir they were trying to drown the village. I flew higher, trying to avoid ya now drowning!! I almost made it! I was almost at the river bead safe and sound!

almost... I was hurrled under the water and I started sinking I tried to air bend up. but the crashing water kept me down. I felt myself getting out of breath. 'no I can't die here!' I thought as I failed to swim up. It's not like they taught me this at the temple. I almost made it up my hand stuck out I waved it frantically hoping for help. I was losing consciousness from lack of breath.

the last thing I remember was hearing a splash...

was I saved? I don't know, after all I lost consciousness...
