Blazing Winds Zuko X reader

Scum Bag

Y/n POV:

it was another day on Zuko's ship, Zuko and I were talking in his room. Rina said i should be fine the burns still hurt a bit but hey what am I gonna do about it?

after a bit Iroh knocked.

"come in uncle" Zuko said, lately he had been happier and more relaxed. the crew said it's because I'm here.

"prince Zuko there is a problem." Iroh spoke nervously.

"what kind of problem?" Zuko asked, his face dropped into a rage full glare as some dude with huge sideburns came in.

"I'm taking your crew." the person said 

"what you can't do that!" Zuko yelled. i put my hand on his to try and comfort him.

"who're you?" Zhao asked after noticing me.

"I'm Y/n." I had no idea who this dude was but he was clearly fire nation and a scum bag.

"if your part of the crew you should come as well." Sideburns said.

"she's not part of the crew!" Zuko held my hand tighter now

"then who is she?" Zuko glared at him. the wind told me this was Zhao, and yeah i was right a scum bag. he was also after Aang, then again who isn't

"I was an earth kingdom prisoner prince Zuko rescued me" i lied. but since the crew doesn't know much this lie might actually work.

"So I'm guessing Zuko promised some grand return to the fire nation?" Zhao rolled his eyes. I was about to say something but i felt an increase in the pain in my arm. i winced a bit.

"hm very well then." Zhao left but he noticed Zuko's duel blades. "I didn't know you knew duel blades." Zhao said.

"i don't their antique. decorative." Zuko lied. but it worked Zhao finally left.

hours past and Zuko locked himself in his room, he wanted to be alone... a couple of times Iroh and I tried to get him out. Eventually Iroh left for a walk he offered to let us come with but Zuko said no, and I decided to stay just in case.

Around the time I went to sleep I heard a noise coming from Zuko's room.

"Uncle?" Zuko questioned as he looked through the hall.

"he's on a walk still." I told him.

"I don't like this. stay in your room!" Zuko yelled. he went out I stayed in my room but I started to hear sizzling?? 

"Oh no..." I said before

KABOOOM!!

the ship went up in flames I was ent flying good news I can fly- well usually. my air bending cut out and I accidently just shot fire. I crashed onto the harbor. I almost definetly broke some things.

"ZUKO!?" I yelled trying to see where he is. I could feel the wind telling me he's underwater. so I did what any (in)sane person would do. I jumped in and used my bending to find him. because I still can't swim...

I found him loosing conceous so I blasted him up onto the harbor. then I did my best to make it to the surface...

when I got up to the surface I saw Iroh giving Zuko CPR. I blasted myself up.

"Iroh what the heck was that!?" I said what must have been a thousand questions, While Iroh was giving Zuko CPR. until finally. he opened his eyes. 

"what happened..?" Zuko's voice was weak and his face covered in scratches and scrapes. his face turned angry. "those pirates!" Zuko spat. the wind told me something though.

"no it was Zhao..." I said

"how can you be sure?" Iroh asked.

"the wind never lies." I said

"the wind?" Zuko repeated in confusion.

"i can hear the wind telling me things... i guess i just know how to listen..." i explained.

"I have an idea" Iroh began. "we're going to infultrait the fire nation." Iroh told us as we exchanged worried looks
