Y/n POV:

I have been on Zuko's ship for about three days and though I'm surprised Aang hasn't come looking for me, it hasn't been that bad here I'm no longer treated like a prisoner now I'm treated as a crew mate! for once in my life I'm not being nagged with fear, regret, or my past! It's awesome. but I am worried about Aang Every so often I feel like he might need my help... and Zuko's going crazy looking for him, and I'll be honest there are times I forget Zuko's supposed to be the enemy...

I was lost in thinking about how crazy everything was when I heard Zuko storming towers in my cell. I can usually tell he's coming based on how loud it is! a strange thing I've been able to do is listen to the 'wind songs' as I call them everyone has a windsong and it shows either their emotions, who they are, or where they are. it can do other stuff but most people don't know about it even when there were other airbenders!

Zuko came in, and was already in a bad mood!

"We found traces of him!" Zuko told me.

"you find him a lot why bother me!" I questioned.

"because It's time for more training!" He stated simply. then he grabbed my arm and dragged me off.

I looked around and saw we were on some kind of giant metal ship there was coal everywhere along with a little bit of wind song regarding battle. I noticed something wildly out of place on the ground. It looked like it was from the water tribe! I took my arm back and walked towards it and sure enough here was a water tribe necklace.

"they were here..." I said quietly. Zuko came up to me and was abut to yell at me. his words were probably around the line of 'no slacking we need to investigate!!' but I gestured to the necklace. he picked it up and examined it

"this is that water tribe girl's necklace." Zuko observed

"She has a name ya know." I rolled my eyes.

Zuko grunted in anoyence than whistled signaling his men to fall in.

"they were here!" He yelled holding the necklace up. His men looked at each other thinking Zuko was crazy. one of them decided to speak up.

"sir how can we find them from some girl's necklace?" They questioned. Zuko galred at them but gave no reply. He simply led all of us back to the ship. I saw this as an opportunity to escape. I rasped my staff about to glide to safety...

Until Zuko grabbed my arm and dragged me back on the ship. he dragged me to my cell- well more of a room now- and yelled.

"WHY ARE YOU STILL TRYING TO ESCAPE!?" He yelled.

"Why do you care I'm just a prisoner." I said trying to get him to lay off.

"no, your not just a prisoner" ZUko started he took my hand which suprised me but I didn't stop him. his hand was firm yet I felt affection from him. I didn't understand but I enjoyed this. Zuko doing this raised a question to me.

"then what am I to you ?" I asked.

"I don't know." He told me but then he pulled me in closer and hugged me. I stood their stunned unsure of if I should stop him, do I want to stop him? we were like this for a while.

"all I know is I want you safe and close to me." Zuko finally said. that's when I felt butterflies in my stomach and my heart beat increased by a lot

'am I dying?' I thought to myself.

Zuko pulled away slightly and looked at me with a warm look he was about to say something but we heard a knock at the iron door. Zuko pulled away fully. and started walking away he looked back at me and I swear I saw a faint smile. but he walked away and in a few minutes I could once again hear him yelling about my brother.

'what was that!?'

'why didn't I stop him'

'do I like him?'

'does he like me??'

'of course not, does he!?'

thoughts like these ran through my head I crashed onto my bed. what else was I supposed to do? I noticed it was nighttime so I decided to sleep. oh boy do I need sleep...
