Blazing Winds Zuko X reader

Training

 (I want to be clear that nothing dirty happened between chapters!!) 

Y/n POV:

I woke up, which was a suprise I had no clue when I fell asleep. I tried to get up but something was holding me back I looked to see Zuko's arm wrapped around me. My face turned bright red as I noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt. I took in my surroundings was this his room?? what stood out most were dual blades They seemed to be important. Soon someone came in and Zuko jolted awake.

"Prince Zuko have you seen Y/n?" I recognized the voice as Rina. SHe opened the door a crack and saw Zuko and I. She immideatly closed the door out of embarrassment.

"I'll come back later!" I heard Rina yell and ran off.

Zuko and I sat in an awkward silence for a solid while. I kept wanting to say something, but I knew i should be thaning him he helped during that storm

"I'll go back to my cell." I fianlly said.

"No." Zuko said flatly. I looked at him with a mix of concern and curiosity. "you still need training." He stood up and finally put a shirt on. I looked away.

"I'm still not helping you find the avatar." I told him.

"you don't need to I'll find him on my own if needed."  Zuko said

"Then why are you training me?" I questioned.

"becouse if I don't you won't survive the war." Zuko told me. I was still suspicious. but fire bending training couldn't be that bad right?

wrong.

"Y/n are you even trying!?" Zuko yelled as i took a poor stance.

"Well it's not like I was born without fire bending!" I exclaimed

"How is that even possible!" zuko groaned then helped my satnce. It took a bit but I finally got it. but instead of fire it was air. Zuko was irritated. then Iroh came in.

"Some people say Fire is the element of emotions. if you hope to master it you must use your emotions." Iroh shared.

"Great the oppisit of my pat tarining." I complained.

"Quite complaining and bend Y/n!" Zuko yelled. I was irritated so I did bend I punched forward and let out a blast of fire.

"As I thought." Iroh said. "Your bending comes from emotions if you're mad you can fire bend." Iroh explained.

"how can you tell?" I asked.

"Well it's more of a theory for now but one day I'm sure you'll know." Iroh told me. 

"great now take your stance again!" Zuko ordered. I took my stance much quicker this time.

"now kick!" Zuko yelled. none of the crew was around so I didn't feel scared. But now I knew I had to be angry luckily I was. I kicked the training dumbey. Flames came out and I succesfully hit it.

"good work Y/n. but you should take a break this is new to you" Iroh said.

"Uncle we just started." Zuko told him.

"Y/n can't overwork her body and becouse she was born whitout fire bending she must take time to get Acustumed to it." Iroh expalined.

"fine just don't get the crew involved in Pai sho again." Zuko grumbled then left.

Iroh led me back to the room where we played pai sho and made some tea.

"General Iroh?" Rina came in. I guess she didn't see me.

"Hello Rina, do you want some tea?" Iroh asked.

"No i have a favor to ask the next port can you please deliver this letter for me?" Rina requested.

"Sure who's it for?" Iroh asked

"Don't worry about that just put it through the mail." Rina smiled. Than saw me.

"Oh hello Y/n, I have your blood test result." Rina told me.

"What did it say?" I qustioned.

"your blood is all air bender. so we have no leads on why you can fire bend..." Rina told me she seemed sad.

"I figured." I said with a shrug.

"ok I'll see you around Y/n." Rina said then left. she seemed to be holding something back but the tea was done, so I didn't mind. no one makes tea like Iroh. 

"hey why does everyone call you general Iroh?" I asked. Iroh stopped in his tracks I realized I asked something personal.

"That's a story for another time" He sighed.

"Ok." I said quietly we drank tea and played some more games it was nice, for a while now I wasn't stressed thinking about Aang.
