secret tunnel

Y/n pov:

Katara and Aang were practicing water bending. Something about an octopus, I was drawing. I needed a new outfit one that wasn't a fire nation outfit. After a bit we heard music. We found nomads!?

"your nomads my sister and I are too!" Aang chirped.

"Nah only he is, once the wars over I'm settling down somewhere." I spoke up.

"Oh c'mon Y/n these people are like us!" Aang smiled. 

"No Aang they're like you" I tried to explain. he just looked confused. I sighed, but in a bit they were all braiding hair and playing with flower crowns

"C'mon guys we have to get to omashu!" Sokka pleaded.

"I agree we gotta go!" I insisted.

"Oh you guys are going to omashu? There's a secret tunnel you can go through?" One of the nomads told us. They sang a killer song that cheered me up.

"SECRET TUNNEL! SECRET TUNNEL THROUGH THE MOUNTAIN SECRET SECRET SECRET TUNNEL!!" he sang.

"I think we'll fly appa doesn't like caves!" Aang smiled but soon the wind told me fire nation tanks were on their way.

"Uh I think we shy cave." I told them

"How come?" Katara asked.

"Just a hunch" I shrugged. They did not listen we were found and came rushing back.

"So uh how about that tunnel?" Aang asked. We went inside the cave of two lovers my mind immediately thought of Zuko was he ok? Was he even alive? The wind told me he was now being hunted by the fire nation.

"Y/n are you feeling alright?" Katara questioned

"Yeah I guess..." I told her.

"If your sure. But remember I'm always here to talk!" She smiled.

After a bit he heard rocks coming down.

"GET DOWN!" I  yelled we got split up well katara and aang did anyway.

"Aang katara! Find the exit we'll meet you there!" I hollered. I heard nothing so I just had to hope they knew what to do.

"How many torches do we have" Sokka asked trying to get hold over the situation.

"We have 8" the nomads then lit all of them.

"That's not quite how it works" I explained. Sokka stomped out seven of them.

"Alright let's find a way out" Sokka groaned in annoyance.

We kept moving for what felt like hours.

"Another dead end?" Sokka complaied.

"Hey I'm sure we're close!" I reassured him. He didn't believe me so we turned trying to find another route only to see more and more dead ends. I was starting to get annoyed with Sokka for being so controlling.

"Why is it another dead end!?" He yelled.

"Ok I'm leading now!" I yelled back.

"What are you talking about?" Sokka asked.

"What's it sound like?" I grumbled.

"No your not you-"

"Are more skilled with navigation! On Zuko's ship the navigator helped me learn to read maps and some other tricks when zuko was trying to get me to learn geography!" I explained.

"Wait why would they teach that sort of thing you were a prisoner!" Sokka noticed my face went red with realization I messed up.

"Well I guess the fire nation-"

"You weren't a prisoner were you" Sokka accused.

"No I wasn't." I sighed

"Then what were you!?" Sokka yelled. I couldn't meet his eyes. The nomads watched silently as I confessed.

"I'm not sure. Depends on who you ask, the crew thought I was another member, the doctor thought I was Zuko's lover and zuko-" I got choked up "zuko knew I was his lover" I admited. Sokka's eyes went wide with horror.

"What are you a spy!?" He accused.

I shook my head.

"Yet you love the enemy!" He yelled.

I nodded my head.

Sokka's rage only grew at each truth he forced out.

"That's it we're leaving you behind!" He yelled and started moving.

"Fine I'll see you at the exit." I said before running to where the wind told me to go. Tears streamed down my cheeks.

"I made a mistake." I sobbed. Suddenly I felt a pain in my heart as the wind told me about zuko how he was how he was feeling his worries about me and about being wanted. I fell to my knees.

"Zuko I promise I'll find a way to keep us together once this war is over" I swore. After a minute I stood myself up and kept moving to the exit. Once I found it I saw Katara and Aang.

"Y/n you made it!" Aang cheered only to see my tear stained face.

"What happened?" Karate exclaimed with worry.

"There's something I must confess i-" I explained everything to them. Once I was done I realized sokka was behind me he heard the full story. I could feel his hate from here yet I also felt guilt from him.

"Y/n i- I don't understand" aang spoke with deep sadness.

"I don't either sometimes but when you find someone who loves you and you love them, your bound to do crazy things" I told him

"Whatever let's just go to omashu" sokka ordered. Katara shot him a dirty look.

"Yeah let's go" I sighed we went over and saw huge fire nation flags.

"What the heck!?" Aang yelled.

"When did this happen??" Katara exclaimed.

I starred off in horror as I saw the flag.

"Well then let's save them?" I suggested

"Yeah let's totally save them from the fire nation with someone dating a their prince" sokka said sarcastically. I scowled at him

"Yet let's do that" Katar confirmed. We all got closer to see they were guarding the entrance.

"Idea!" I said pointing at the sewers.
