Fighting Love

shout out to @Lia_219 for reminding me to do this.

Y/n POV:

before we could make it back too Aang we were interrupted by a certain love of mine along with some sort of animal.

"Where is the avatar!" Zuko demanded.

"We split up." Sokka growled.

"How stupid do you think I am?" Zuko questioned.

"very stupid." Sokka yelled than grabbed Katara and I and tried to take off running. key word tried, the odd animal licked us and paralyzed us. Zuko finally realized i was here i guess.

"Y/n!" his voice was laced with concern as he franticly started asking stuff like 'am i ok?'

"I'm fine Zuko!" I tried to convince him.

"with them!?" He accused.

"yes with them..." I said, I don't know if I belived it even.

then the girl on the animal spoke.

"You found your girlfriend so do you need me to find her brother or not?" She grumbled

"yes we still need to find the avatar!" Zuko yelled then picked me up and put me gently on the saddle unlike the way he roughly threw Sokka and Katara on.

by the time we're back where Aang is i'm starting to get some feeling back in my limbs I still pretend I'm paralyzed, mostly because Zuko is holding me but also because I can try and trick them.

we suddenly stop as the beast starts pacing in a circle. Aang was circling above us! he spiraled down and took the beast down with air we all fell off.

"I've had enough of this" Zuko exclaimed while taking his stance. Zuko started blasting fire Aang started Dodging. I started to be able to move again, but I was still unsure of who to help...

eventually I started to stand and I went inside to get help I knew Sokka would have a plan so we needed to get him moving! the sisters made them smell a very potent smelling bottle and surprisingly they could move again.

"the creature. it sees with its nose." I said.

"then let's give it something to smell." Sokka said confidently

we all got huge barrels of perfume, and rolled them onto the battlefield the smell confused the creature.

"woo!" Katara cheered. the creature went down but the fight wasn't over Zuko and Aang were still fighting. Aang was mostly just dodging, Zuko was getting angrier by the second.

"STOP DODGING COWARD!!" Zuko yelled. Aang just gave a goofy grin. that's when Zuko set a blast of fire that actually hit! my eyes widened with terror as Aang fell to the ground.

I reacted on instinct jumping between the two

"BOTH OF YOU STOP!" I yelled. I noticed Aang passed out, now I had to keep Zuko away!

"get out of the way Y/n!" Zuko commanded.

"NO! he's my brother, and you better believe I'll protect him!!" I yelled I got into a stance.

"Sokka! Katara! Get Aang out of here!!" i yelled.

"But Y/n what about you?" Katara questioned. the worried tone she used left me feeling more determined to get them safe! 

"I'll be fine Just hurry!" I told them and gave them a reassuring smile.

they all got on Appa Zuko was about to blast a lot of fire at them but I jumped in front the fire hit me instead burning my left arm. i came crashing to the ground but at least Aang and the others got away...

"Y/N!!" Zuko rushed to me anyone could have seen the panic in his eyes, the guilt burning thre him.

"Y/n don't worry you'll be fine, I'll get you to a doctor immediately!" He picked me up and started running back to what i can only assume is his ship.

"Zuko..." i tried to talk but exhaustion set in and i passed out.
