I didn't know how to act towards Hayes after our date but after I pondered about it at my locker he walks up to me

Hayes: Good morning
Asher: Good morning, I see your wearing the plushie I pick for you :)
Hayes: Of course I am and I see your wearing your sonic bag I picked for you
Asher: Mhm (I turn around to let him see it)

We talk for about 10 minutes then he leans over and looks at my whiteboard on my locker door

Hayes: What does that say?
Asher: Hm? (Forgot what he wrote)
Hayes: Aw it's my locker number
Asher: Oh I forgot to erase that 😅
Hayes: That's a lot of hearts 🤭
Asher: That's so embarrassing
Hayes: No it's not, I have your locker number in mine to but it only has one heart so I guess I'll have to add more

I blush and try to hide my face

We talk a bit more then the bell rings and I don't want to say bye to him, I don't know if I should say bye and just leave or hug him or- before I could finish my thought Hayes says "I have to go to class so ya later" then he waved goodbye while walking backwards and I say "Bye" smiling like a goofy middle schooler then he's out of sight

Everest: You need to do better
Asher: How long have you been there
Everest: Long enough, you know he's carrying your relationship right?
Asher: What do you mean
Everest: You know how every time you try to make a move on him he's unfazed and your red as a tomato
Asher: Yea...
Everest: Well that needs to change
Asher: Yea yea

When I go to close my locker door it's a new writing on my whiteboard and it says

I'll miss you xoxo -Hayes

And I blush like hell and say "Did you see him write this?" And Everest responds "Yep he did it while you were lost in thought" then we go to class and Bryce help us come up with ideas on how to make Hayes blush. At the end of class I open my locker and look at what Hayes wrote and I'm so focused on it I almost didn't see a note fall out

I put more hearts<3 -Hayes

And I immediately knew he meant he put them around my locker number and I blush so much I think I could die

Bryce: See your flustered again, you need to be working on your pick up lines or something
Caleb: No that won't work try this, okay so look at him then look down at his wrist, bonus points if he doesn't have a coat or hoodie on then grab his arm and glide your finger down his wrist where is veins are and look up at him like this
He does it to Bryce and Bryce turns bright red
Caleb: See works every time, but do it at the end of the day so he'll have to come back
Asher: Where did you learn that? Never mind I have to go but thank you
Caleb: Mhm :)

I wrote a note back to Hayes and it said

I wish we were in the same class, I miss you -Asher

And I sent Everest to put it in his locker for me then when she got back we went to our next class and I showed her what Caleb taught me and to my surprise it worked on her and she was bright red so maybe it'll work on Hayes, when we go to our locker again a note falls out

Aw I miss you to :) and I thought of a new name for you and it's SMILEY!! I think it fits you perfectly, I wish last night could've last longer -Hayes<3

I blush at my new nickname because I love it and me and Hayes continue passing note all day until the end of last period when instead of replying I went to his locker, I brought Everest for backup and she sat on the stair well. When he saw me he skipped up to me and said

Hayes: Smiley :) I'm glad to see you
Asher: Aw I'm happy to see you to :)
Hayes: What brings you up?
Asher: I wanted to try something on you

Hayes looks over to the bathroom then back at me and says "Should we go to the bathroom then?..." and I realize what he thought I was implying and I say "No no nothing like that" and practically die of embarrassment then he says "Oh yea go ahead then".

I make eye contact with him then lift his arm and slide my finger down his vein to his hand and look back up at him, when I look at him he's super red and I ask "Are you okay, I've never seen anyone be that red you look like someone put red makeup on you" then he says "Im fine" as he hides his face in his hoodie and I laugh then Everest comes over and said "Hi Hayes" and he replies with his face still hid in his hoodie "Hey" then Everest says "I'm gonna take Ash because he has to walk me home" and he responds "Mhm see you guys later" as he turns around and takes his face out his hoodie and goes to his locker

Hayes pov
What just happened?! I'm freaking out still even though it happened two hours ago. I don't have really anyone to talk about it to so I call one of my friends from my old school

Friend: What's up Hayes
Hayes: You'll never believe what happened to me!
Friend: Tell me!
Hayes: So I'm talking to his guy named Asher and-
Friend: Talking talking or just talking
Hayes: Talking talking
Friend: Finally, I thought you'd never get over Noor
Hayes: Shut up, anyway so we've been talking for a while and we went on a date last night and we almost kissed but we got interrupted then today we were putting notes in each other's lockers right
Friend: mhm
Hayes: And at the end of the day he came up to me and basically rizzed me up!
Friend: And how did you react?!
Hayes: I blushed like a idiot

We continue talking then when I see Asher the next day I blush because just looking at him reminds me of yesterday.

Back to Asher's pov

When I see Hayes I go over to him

Asher: Good morning :)
Hayes: Good morning smiley
Asher: Why are you hiding your face?
Hayes: Because yesterday
Asher: Oh still feeling it huh?
Hayes: Yea but how could I not?
Asher: Want me to do it again?
Hayes: No I don't think I could handle that again

We talk until the bell rings I hug Hayes and he hugs me back and says "Do it just one time" and I do and he says "That gives me chills" while we both laugh and go our separate ways then at the end of the day I ask him if he wants to come over to my house today since it's Friday and he agrees and we walk to my house holding hands
