Hayes pov
My poor baby is still upset but not with me for once, he went to the dentist a hour ago and he hated every single second of it, let's recap.

Asher: AHHHHHHH!
As dad: Asher
Asher: Dad I don't have cavities!
As mom: Asher you already knew about this so go
Asher: I'll go but I'm not going to the dentist
As dad: Son it won't be that bad all they have to do is drill-
Asher: DRILL?! FUCK NO IM NOT GOING
As mom: I'm calling Hayes
As dad: Yeah please call him so he can help

Asher: Call whoever you want I'm still not going

As mom: Yeah and if he doesn't go now then he'll be late

We get to the dentist and as soon as Asher sits in the chair he starts to silently cry "Get it together" I say and he whips his tears. When they get out the drill he holds my hand and I say "Stop crying it won't hurt" he stays still while gripping my hand tightly and still crying but as soon as they were done he sobbed profusely even after they gave him a mystery lollipop. He didn't talk in the car or turn on music he just drove home in silence then when we got there he just sat in the car on his phone. I go into the house to tell his parents we're back then I go back to the car

London's pov
I come outside and sit in the car with Asher and Hayes, they're not taking but I can tell Asher's been crying so I try to lift the mood London: Hayes I have some pink ribbon
Hayes: Cool
I make a bow around Hayes arm where his muscles are and tell him to flex while I record, he does and the ribbon breaks "Edging" is the only word I heard Asher mumble, me and Hayes look at him and he's lost in his own thoughts. "Let's go get frozen yogurt " I suggest and Asher sniffs then starts to drive to the place.

London: Why are you still sad Asher?
Hayes: Cmon smile Ash
Asher: *smiles while tears fill his eyes*
London: It couldn't have been that bad
Hayes: Does is still hurt smiley?

Asher: The lollipop was root beer flavored *starts sobbing*

London: I'm confused

Asher: And the filling the dentist put in is making my yogurt gross
London: You were crying over a lollipop this whole time?
Asher: When we left the dentist I was crying because my mouth hurt then the car door hit my funny bone and I got a foot cramp while driving then when we got here I tasted my lollipop and it was root beer flavored then when Hayes told me to smile I cried out of frustration
London: Your day has been really horrible, you know what you need? To go to the tattoo shop
Asher: YES!
Hayes: NO!
London: Why Hayes?
Hayes: No one has money for that
Asher: *pulls out a 100$ bill*
Hayes: We don't have a parent's consent

Caleb's pov
As we were driving to the shop I asked Hayes "Why do you feel so safe with Asher even though he's smaller than you and probably couldn't protect you if he tried?" "I don't really know but when he says he'll protect me I believe him because even if he can't he'll still try" he answers "You believe in him that much?" "I trust him with my whole heart : )" he says and Asher says "What are kids talking about?" And we both say "Nothing : )" at the same time and I think it's cool to have so much trust in a person. I struggle with trust issues and they get in the way pretty often but trying to learn to get past it, when we get to the shop Everest says "Wait I want nipple piercings but I'm scared and all my clothes are pretty tight so my mom will find out" "I'll go with you and you can take them out eventually so just wear a jacket until then" Lon says as they start to walk to the back "I'll show you guys once it's done" Everest say "Please don't" I say
