Hayes pov
Todays the day, today is the day I'm going to propose to Asher.....with a promise ring : ). I've been pondering about it for a month ever since I brought the ring, I had just made 90$ from Tara and I was walking around, I passed the jewelry store and I saw the most beautiful lavender ring so I brought it immediately, I was flat broke in one day but I just knew I had to give it to Asher. He talks about marring me all the time and I like that idea so why not propose, one month later and here I am about to go to his house to ask him to marry me. We're still only in high school so we can't really get married but a promise ring is just as good right?

Asher's pov
Hayes came to my house out of nowhere "Hey babe : )" I said smiling and he blushed and said "Hey Ash : )" and he told me how he wanted to go on a date

Asher: I told you no more spending money
Hayes: But I got 100$ from Hudson yesterday, why don't you like when I spend money on you?
Asher: I don't know I just feel like I owe you when you buy me stuff
Hayes: You have money to you know but you only spend it on me, piercings and food
Asher: I don't know
Hayes: Cmon Smiley lets go out just me and you today

Hayes pov
He pondered while playing with his tongue piercing then said "Just me and you?" And I nodded my head "Okay but no more going out this week" he said and we went to Frankie's. We played every game and stayed there for like 2-3 hours "Wasn't that fun Ash?" I said and he replied "Mhm : )" then we went out to dinner at red lobster. "What do you have planned Hayes, your going all out today?" He asked "I don't know what your talking about" I said as they brung both of us plates of pasta. He finished his before the waiter even walked away, I raised both eyebrows because the way he eats surprises me every time

Asher's pov
We got back home and stayed in the car talking for a while then when we went in the house I starred into the refrigerator looking for something "I have a surprise for you" Hayes said behind me in the living room "What is it?" I said still looking in the refrigerator. When I turned around he was on one knee holding a ring, I was confused then he said "Will you marry me?" And I wanted to scream but I stayed calm "Of course I will!!" I said smiling and he put the ring on my finger. I was holding my breath "I'll be right back : )" I said going upstairs "MOM! DAD IM MARRIED!" I yelled as soon as I was upstairs "Huh?!" Avery yelled from her room as my parents came out "IM MARRIED IM MARRIED!" I said jumping up and down

Asher's mom pov
I come out my room to Asher saying he's married and he's jumping up and down so I start jumping to before even knowing the whole situation. Now we're all jumping "How?! What even happened?" Avery said and Asher replied "HE PROPOSED TO ME! LOOK AT MY RING!" As he held out his hand and we all swooned "AWE MY BABY!" I said as tears filled my eyes "That's beautiful Ash!" Adrian (his dad) said "Hayes!" I called out "Mhm?" He said from downstairs "Come up here" I said and he came up, we all started jumping up again.

Asher's dad pov
"So we're planning the wedding now" Laura (his mom) said as her and Asher wiped their tears and went into our room "It's a promise ring not a wedding ring" Hayes said to me and I responded "I figured but just let them have their moment" I responded as we all went downstairs

Adrian: The ring was beautiful, how much was it?
Hayes: 90$
Avery: I wish I had a ring
Laura: What's your favorite color Hayes?
Asher: It's light blue
Adrian: Sorry to break it to you but that's not a wedding ring guys
Laura: What?!
Asher: It's a promise ring mom
Laura: But you said your married
Asher: I know but it's just a promise ring
Laura: Now I have to cancel the venue
Avery: How did you get that done so fast
Laura: I already had that planned
Hayes: I'll get the real wedding ring soon : )

Hayes pov
I spent the night with Asher and he couldn't stop looking at the ring "It's so pretty!" He said kicking his feet, I smiled and he said "You'll be rewarded tonight : )" with a suggestive tone. I blushed and he didn't lie when he said I'll be rewarded "Are we going to school today?" I asked 4 hours later "Well I can't miss anymore days because I'm at my last strike but my thighs are sore because of you" he said and I didn't feel bad but I said "Sorry" and he replied "It's fine" as he got up. At school he ran to the crew and said "Guess what!" And they all said what "IM MARRIED!" He yelled holding out his hand with the ring on it

Everest: No way! Hayes proposed?!
Caleb: AHHH Asher's married now!
Bryce: Not married he's engaged dumbass
Ryan: When's the wedding?!
London: What did I miss last night?!
Asher: Well Hayes took me on a date then when we came back he proposed to me and I cried : )
Hayes: Yeah that's basically what happened
Everest: When's the wedding?!
Hayes: It's a promise ring not a wedding ring
