Blind or dates?

Asher's pov
The next day after school everyone meet up and brung some people they knew who wanted to date Avery. Now I want to stay completely out of it because I don't know if I like the idea of letting my sister date people she doesn't know but I decided to be there so I can at least have a say in it. I thought that it would be some random guys I didn't know but a lot of them were some of my acquaintances but she didn't know I knew them, it was weird to think about how they want to date my sister

Avery's pov
So I already asked a few questions and eliminated some guys and I regret eliminating a few of them because they were pretty but now we're down to the last 3.

Avery: What's your ideal date?
Contestant 1: Picnic
Contestant 2: The beach
Contestant 3: The arcade
Avery: I think I'm going to eliminate constant number 2 because I don't like the beach
Asher: No don't eliminate him
Avery: Asher for the last time be quiet!
Asher: Sorry

When the person I eliminated comes from behind the curtain I immediately regret eliminating them because he was really cute

Avery: Okay the next question is, who's your favorite artist
Contestant 1: Urm Drake
Contestant 3: Bryson Tiller
Asher: Contestant 1 should leave immediately
Avery: Asher if you don't shut up! Anyways I'm going to eliminate contestant 1

When the person who was last came from behind the curtain I was surprised to see it was Everest with some cool shades on "Of course it's you Ev" I say and she responds "In the flesh" and Asher says "You like my sister?!" And Everest responds "No but this sounded like fun" and I laugh then grab her hand and we go eat buffalo wings at the arcade

Finley's pov
I don't know how but somehow I ended up alone with Asher. He's cool and we were trying to find the door to get out the building, As we were walking we saw what's his name again? Urm....Hayes! And he said "Where's the door" and Asher responded "I don't know, we're just as lost as you are" then he says "Well I'm going to look around this way and if I find it I'll text you the directions because I'm late getting home" and Asher replied "Okay see you tomorrow" as they kissed goodbye and went opposite ways, I followed Asher and asked a obvious question to start a conversation

Finley: Is that your boyfriend?
Asher: Mhm, cute isn't he?
Finley: I feel like that's a trick question
Asher: You got me haha
Finley: How long have you guys been dating?
Asher: Hm...It has to be almost four months by now
Finley: Do you love him
Asher: Yes
Finley: Does he love you
Asher: I hope so even though he never actually said he does...come to think of it he always says "I love you guys" to the whole crew but he's never told me he loves me personally
Finley: He probably does he just hasn't said it
Asher: Your right

Asher's pov
As you guys could probably imagine when I got home I sat in the treehouse and stressed about why Hayes never said he loves me, maybe he doesn't love me and that's why he didn't say it. I think about it for a while then decided to just ask him even though it took a lot for me to put away my pride

Asher: Hello?
Hayes: Hey smiley
Asher: Hey babe
Hayes: Did you make it home safely?
Asher: Mhm but I have a question
Hayes: What is it : )
Asher: Do you love me
Hayes: Of course I do why would you ask that
Asher: Because you never say it
Hayes: Even if I haven't said it yet you should know I do, I try to show it as much as possible
Asher: Your right, that's was a silly question
Hayes: You do know I love you right?
Asher: I guess so...
Hayes: Where are you
Asher: The treehouse
Hayes: Alright

He hangs up the phone and I don't know what happened or if I made him angry so I decided to stare into the refrigerator and wait for something to appear. As I'm looking I see strawberry's and reach for them but my dad comes downstairs and says "Dont eat my strawberries" and I say "Can I have one? I'm sooooooo hungry" even though I ate like 30 minutes ago, my dad goes and sits on the couch to watch tv and while I'm trying to sneak a strawberry there's a knock at the door so I answer it and it's Hayes. I smile and ask "What are you doing here" but instead of answering he gives me kisses all over my face while I laugh

Hayes: I can't believe you thought I didn't love you
Asher: I didn't believe you didn't I just wanted to make sure
Hayes: Well I do
Asher: Did you come all the way over for that *He laughs*
Hayes: I sure did, What kind of boyfriend would I be if I let you think that
Asher: Well you can stay for dinner if you want, my mom is cooking spaghetti
Hayes: Sure, What's your dad's name?

I look over and my dad is at the kitchen counter with his eyes slanted, he's also eating the strawberries and watching us. I roll my eyes at him then turn back to Hayes and invite him in "Hello Hayes, Long time no see" my dad says and Hayes replies "Yea I have to start coming back more often" as they both laugh and me and Hayes go upstairs to my room. We mess around with stuff in my room then when the food is done we eat then talk a while longer  till around 11, Hayes has to go home now so I walk him to the door and we kiss goodbye but before he leaves he says "I love you see you tomorrow" and I smile and say "I love you to" then once I can't see him anymore I go inside and think I can celebrate in peace but that was quickly shut down by my parents.

They told me that they weren't mad and that they were happy that we reached that level in our relationship but they also said to slow down a bit because rushing through milestones could have a bad effect. I told them I understand then went to my room, I think I get what there talking about but I wouldn't say we're rushing, it's been four months since we started dating so it was about time we started saying I love you to each other right? I've never got this far into a relationship because we always fall out at the 2-3 month mark so I don't  really know
