Hayes: Neither, I'm afraid of needles and you both know that

How did I even get here, Asher got his tongue pierced and I almost cried watching it, he didn't even flinch and Avery got her name tattooed, of course I "overreacted" but I can't sit in a chair and get stabbed by 100 tiny needles. They begged me to get tattoo or a piercing and I refused, they kept begging me and eventually I gave in. I sat in the chair and the man asked me what piercing I wanted "He wants a lip piercing" Avery said "He wants a septum piercing" Asher said but I said "Eyebrow" because it sounds less painful. When I saw the needle I almost passed out and I grabbed Asher's hand "Are you that scared, your squeezing my hand really hard" he says and I say "I'm sorry" and loosen my grip

Asher's pov
Aww my baby is so precious, he's so scared and it's so cute! I know he won't let me see him cry in a million years but he was squeezing my hand and when they were putting the needle through he was yelling "Asher, Asher!, ASHER!!" And I laughed while saying "It's okay Hayes I'm right here" when the needle was all the way through he sighed and wiped his tears, I was taken aback because I've never seen any guy I've ever dated cry but that boosted Hayes attractiveness by 10000 points "Aww my baby" I swoon and Hayes said "This hurts so bad *sniff*"

Avery's pov
My tattoo is so pretty! My dad told me and Asher not to get it because we just turned 16 like yesterday but my mom gave us the go ahead so that's what me did plus we paid for it with our birthday money, I got 890$ but Asher only got 880$ he got more than me last year so it's okay. When we leave the shop I say "Frozen yogurt?" And they agree so we go get some, I call Everest to meet us there and when she got there I showed her my tattoo "No way! I wanted one my my mom said no so I got back dimples" we ask to see and she shows us, it was really cool and I think I want that next

Everest's pov
As we're all talking I notice something shining in Asher's mouth "Let me see what you got pierced" I say and he swallows his yogurt then sticks out his tongue and I see his piercing, I look at Hayes and his face is red so he was probably thinking about all the places that piercing can touch. I see Hayes's eyebrow piercing and ask "How'd they convince you to get that? Aren't you afraid of needles?" And he responds "Yeah I cried but it's looks cool so it's worth it"

Hayes pov
At around 3:00 me and Asher go to his house, we go upstairs to his room and let's just say I like his new piercing, after we're done we go to the arcade to meet the crew and say our final goodbye to Finley because he's going to be gone by tonight and he wanted to spend the day with us. I'm going to miss him even though he wasn't apart of the crew long. We play every arcade game and eat 4 pizzas then walk around town until it's time for Finley to go, we all hug him and I was kinda mad at Bryce for not coming even though he's the main reason Finley has to leave but he showed up out of nowhere like the main character

Bryce: Finley where are you going? I went by your house and everything was packed up
Finley: I'm leaving, I told you last night but you were to drunk to understand me
Bryce: Well long distance could work right?
Finley: No, we're not dating anymore
Bryce: Your breaking up with me?!
Finley: I did that last night, you don't even care about me you always yell at me and hit me
Bryce: I do care about you!
Finley: When's my birthday?
Bryce: Uhm
Finley: Guys when is my birthday?
All: January 11
Bryce: Finley come on don't do this to me
Finley: You did this to yourself! I didn't tell you to give me a black eye, do you know how hard that was to explain to my parents?!
Bryce: Finley cmon don't leave me, I love you
Finley: You should've loved me when I loved you!

Neil's pov
Finley left and Bryce cried but nobody could feel bad because he did it to himself, we comforted him and told him "It's okay" "It's not your fault" like good friends but it's not okay and it is his fault. At school the next day I noticed that Hayes was struggling to be mean to Asher and I was thinking about sticking up for him but Asher looked like he was enjoying it so I stayed quiet and observed

Asher's pov
When I saw Hayes this morning I ran up to him and said "Good morning my love" as I wrapped my arms around him like I do every morning but he said "Can you move?" As he walked away, I blushed a little but I wondered why he didn't hug me back, I thought he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed so I skip to him and say "Hey babe, hey babe, hey babe!" As I skip circles around him but he rolls his eyes and goes to class why I just stand there but if he thinks I'm going to give up he's wrong, I go to class and after a few minutes I drop my pencil on purpose "Can you get that for me?" I say and Hayes usually would say "Of course Smiley" or "Sure : )" but he just looked at the pencil on the floor than rolled his eyes and got back to his work, "I wish I had a boyfriend to pick up my pencil because my back hurts because of him and it's the least he can do" i say and he looks at me and says "Stop being lazy and get it yourself" and I blush while getting it myself, I try to think about why he's being mean then I remember that I told him to😭

Hayes pov
Pretended to be mean to my precious baby is so difficult, he's so pretty and sweet so how can I just brush him off like that? It's effecting me more than him but he wanted me to do this so I have to push through it. At lunch we were with the crew and Asher was leaning against me as usual but I scooted over away from him, he looked surprised at first but then he smiled at me and I turned red, I turned around quickly and pretended it never happened.
