(Justin's pov)
"Put your arms up."
The officer strictly ordered then felt for weapons. Dammit, this hurts, especially when he touched my sides.
"Ok, you're good."
The officer let me go and checked the others. Luckily, they didn't check my profile or any of the guys' profiles, because we all have criminal records. Once everyone was unbelievably approved, we took a seat in the airplane. That's when I felt my chest grow heavy.
"Justin, you're not ok. You're not breathing right."
Christie put her hand on my hand, which was on my wound. She put her other hand on my shoulder.
"There's poison in me."
I went ahead and told her.
"What?"
Her eyes flickered with sadness and anxiousness.
"Jason injected poison in me."
My heartbeat pounded dramatically as it could be heard through my ears.
"Justin, no. We need to get it out of you."
Christie started to panic and study my every move. She had a helpless look in her deep brown eyes.
"Someone help!"
Christie shouted and started to tear up. I felt my blood pumping rigorously in my veins.
"Justin. Bro, what's wrong?"
Za came up to me.
"He said his brother injected poison in him."
Christie was literally in tears.
"Dammit. Get a doctor or something!"
Za shouted; then a stranger came up and examined me. I'm guessing he was a doctor or something useful. I felt myself being hauled onto the floor of the plane.
"Justin! Don't die! Please!"
Christie put my head in her lap and held my face. She also held my hand. My whole system felt like it was shutting down.
"Justin! No! Justin, stay with me! Please! Justi-."
But Christie's words started to fade as well as my eyesight. I wish I was invincible, so I could stay with Christie and Drew. I knew it was too good to be true. As I said before, she's innocent. I'm the criminal. It doesn't work out. But I love her and Drew to death. Christie's the world to me, and if I had a choice, I would never take back the day I first saw her. If I had a choice between going to hell and back, and not meeting her at all, I would pick going through hell. It's worth the pain, because I know she'll be right beside me.
(Christie's pov)
Justin slowly started to lose his breathing.
"No!"
I cried my eyes out without a stop. Justin was pale and motionless. His head lay still in my lap, and I felt no pulse by his neck anymore.
"Justin, please don't leave me."
I sobbed against his soft, messy hair. There were 3 paramedics working on Justin. They pumped on his chest and did CPR. I couldn't handle a second anymore. I broke down while one of the paramedics pushed me away. I cried on the floor and wished my heart out for Justin to come back. I was scared, broken, unable to accept this. People were shouting and pumping Justin's chest like crazy. Everything scared me, and I just wanted to die.
"Wait! I feel a pulse!"
Someone hollered, so I crawled back over to Justin. I squeezed between two paramedics in order to get to Justin. Justin was still pale, but I could see his chest heaving and his eyebrows furrowed.
"Justin."
I touched his cheek and held his hand.
"Fuck...Christie."
Justin breathed out, barely audible.
"Justin...Omigod. You're alive."
I let another tear slip out. My lungs and heart felt like they were working again. They wouldn't be able to function without Justin.
"Of course I am, babe."
His eyes fluttered open and his hand squeezed gently mine. I cried as I pressed our foreheads together.
"Baby, don't cry."
Justin mumbled and tried to reach for me, but there were paramedics sticking needles in his arm and treating his wound.
"Please stay alive, Justin."
I cried silently.
"I'm not going anywhere, baby."
He spoke softly and quiet.
"Do you feel ok?"
I glanced at the work done to his wound. I think the paramedics are almost done.
"Yea, I'm good."
He looked at me in tiredness.
"I think you can get up now."
I noticed that the paramedics were leaving. Justin slowly got up without my help. I tried to help him, but he's about twice my size.
"Sit on the seats."
I noticed that his side wound was bothering him. Justin sat on the airplane seats and winced.
"Did you get my surprise?"
Justin sounded tired and pained.
"What surprise?"
I can't help but still worry about him.
"Drew."
Justin smiled at me.
"Oh, I need to get him."
I stood up and looked for Stacy. It's not that I forgot about Drew. I was just too overwhelmed with Justin dying.
"Looking for this?"
Stacy held out Drew for me. I hugged Drew to my chest and gave him the biggest kiss ever. I couldn't help but cry.
"I missed you so much, Drew."
I sat back next to Justin.
"Aw, baby, are you crying?"
Justin put his arm around me, wincing a bit.
"Thank you so so much, Justin. I don't what I would do without you."
I hugged Justin lovingly and cried in his shirt.
"I'll do anything for you, Christie."
Justin kissed my head and rubbed my back.
"Why are we going to Canada?"
I asked him.
"It's the best place I can think of."
He answered.
"We don't even have money."
I spoke into his shirt.
"I know a guy that might be able to help."
Justin kept me close to him without hurting his wound.
"Are you ok?"
I can't stop worrying about him.
"Yea, I promise I'm fine, babe."
He stroked my hair. I grew tired with Drew fast asleep in my arms. I could also hear Justin cutely and silently snoring. I smiled then tried to sleep as well.
-6am-
I felt Justin tighten his grip on me as the plane landed.
"Are we here?"
I tiredly sat up and looked out the window. It was still dark outside.
"I think so. You ready to go, babe?"
Justin mumbled half asleep.
"Yea. Do you feel ok?"
I kept an eye on his wound and his condition.
"I'm good. Let's go."
We stood up and made our way out. I carried Drew while Justin led us out of the airport. He had a slight limp and winced every once in a while. Drew was knocked out. I know he must be tired, confused if possible.
"I got us a ride."
Ryan offered and waved us down a cab. I'm surprised all 9 of us fit inside, but Kayla, Brie, Stacey, and I were in our lovers' laps. Brie was passed out in Za's arms, which was cute. I was very careful not to lean on Justin because of his wound. The cab parked in a dark street. It kinda creeped me out, but I know Justin knows where we're going. When we got out, it was freezing cold outside. I held Drew closer, so he wouldn't get cold.
"C'mere, baby."
Justin held me by his side, his non-injured side. He led us through the dark and coldness to a quiet house. I could see a dim light through the window, but the porch light wasn't on at all. Justin knocked on the door; then we waited for an answer.
"Oh, Justin? Bro, what are you doing here? I haven't seen you in forever, man!"
A guy with messy brown hair answered. He looked half asleep with a blanket wrapped around him.
"We need your help, Chaz..."
Justin stuttered from the cold.
