Daichi x Reader

Garwsh. Right when I came home today, I took a nap for like 4 hours. And then I played Kingdom hearts until now. SO I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS! I'm thinking about making a one shot in the future an AU but I'm still thinking about it >.< LETS GET ON WITH THE STORY!

Oh my god. This is the worst week in your life. You got your period and you had very bad cramps. Not even pills work to suppress your aching pains in your lower abdomen. Not only that, but the pain was also in your back, WHICH MADE EVERYTHING WORSE! (I get these too and I like cry.)

You banged your head on your desk, holding your stomach.

'Why can't school be over already!'

It was the end of the school year. Two more days left and then vacation.

It was barely lunchtime though, and you didn't feel like eating either, the pain was becoming unbearable. You were getting emotional (I get way emotional I literally cry and scream at everyone it's badddddd.) and was about to start crying, until someone started rubbing your back.

"Oi... Are you all right ___?" Daichi asked with a worried tone. You groaned at his question and shook your head no.

"I'm going to die Daichi-san. Can you take me to the infirmary please? I need to lay down." You whimpered.

"Uhhh sure. But what's wrong?" He questioned. You sighed, getting up. "It's just girl stuff." You answered, slouching, hoping that would ease the pain, but sadly it didn't. It just made your back worse.

He walked next to you, rubbing your back continually. You two made it into the nurse and you lied down on the nearest bed immediately. You put you hands on your stomach, rubbing it as well.

"Are cramps that bad? You look like you're in a lot of pain..." Daichi questioned, putting his hand on top of yours, slightly pushing pressure. You nodded to answer his question.

"You're graduating in a couple days..." You blurted out.

Daichi looked at you, surprised. "What's with that all of the sudden?" He laughed, putting his other hand on the back of his neck.

"You're heading off to college, and I'm going to be stuck here for another year." You explained as if you were about to cry. Damn these cramps are getting to you. >.<

You looked at Daichi, and saw a sad smile appear on his face. His hand that was on the back of his neck transitioned to your forehead. He started caressing you from your forehead to your head.

"I'll miss you, you know." He said quietly. He held your hand that was on your stomach tightly. Before you knew it, you felt a tear fall.

You noticed this and immediately made an excuse. "Sorry sorry! It's just that my stomach hurts so much." You voiced cracked but as a matter of fact, he saw right through you. Of course you were going to miss him. He's been your best friend since you were kids, and you two recently started going out in the middle of your second year of high school. All of this, his smile, his passion for volleyball, his love for you, will all be gone in a blink of an eye.

You remembered when he told you the news. He got accepted to a university in America. He wanted to work in a job that makes people happy. A job where everyone will be proud of him for. You didn't mind this since it will make the person who makes you happy, happy as well, but since the year is coming to an end, you were devastated. Sure you could talk to him over the phone or even video chat, but will he be there when you'll need him the most?

Exactly, you thought you were selfish for thinking this, but you couldn't control that thought from happening.

You continued to cry, and squeezed his hand. You sat up from the bed and hugged him, as tight as you can. He hugged you back, putting his face in the crook of your neck. He let go and put his hand on your check, his finger wiping away your tears.

You saw a tear drop from his eye.

"Don't be sad ___, I'll make sure I'll ca-"

"But you won't be here anymore. Your family, your friends, me, we're going to miss you so much." You cried, more tears falling. Daichi began crying more.

"I know that. But I won't let you guys down anymore. I won't be a burden onto you or anyone else. Instead of you carrying your own burdens, I'll carry them for you, so you won't have to suffer while I'm gone."

Your lips trembled, and hugged him back.

"Do your best in America, Daichi-san." You whimpered, but tried your best to smile. He embraced you, putting his head in the crook of your neck once more, taking in your scent.

"I promise I'll be back soon." He whispered, kissing your neck.
