Sugawara x Reader (Continued)

As soon as you hung up the phone, you rose from your bed and went to brush your teeth. When you came back, your phone lit up with another message.

It's probably Daichi again.

It wasn't.

Sugawara texted you back after so long, but instead of being scared and curious about why he hadn't texted you after a long time, you were pleased that he texted you eventually.

"Sorry for the late reply, _____! Daichi gave me the idea of taking you to that one fast food place you like! I'm sure you'll say yes to that, so I'll see you tomorrow at school with your umbrella! Goodnight!"

"Daichi, you're my hero." You said to yourself, imagining Daichi in a superhero suit.

A couple of days pass by and it was the same old routine everyday. Wake up, go to school, see the most beautiful man in your life, etc. It's also worth mentioning that when Sugawara returned your umbrella to you, the smile that you loved seeing everyday was as ravishing and entrancing as ever, maybe even more.

And then, it was finally the day. It was Saturday, and today was Sugawara's and Daichi's bro date. Waiting for this day to come has brought upon a lot of anxiety, but as the day was getting closer and closer, Daichi continued to reassure you that everything was going to be okay.

"Have fun on your guys' bro date! Make sure you end the day off with a hug!" You exclaimed to them, walking out of the school gate.

They both gave you a smile, Daichi gave a slightly concerning and forced smile, and Sugawara gave you a sweet and beaming smile.

His smile could save many lives.

But then, they began walking the same direction as you were walking to.

Confused, you asked them what was up. You assumed that they were going to Sugawara's house but nope, that wasn't the case.

Daichi answered to free you from your confusion. "Oh yeah, Suga insisted on doing this at my house, so we'll be walking home together."

"Oh okay! This is rare for the three of us to walk home together!" You tried to sound as cheerful as possible, but your were sort of dying inside because walking home with Sugawara beside you felt different, yet comforting. You walked in between the both of them, because Sugawara proposed that it's best for you to be in the middle 'just in case'.

"Maybe we should do this more often? We rarely hang out during the school term." Sugawara said, adjusting the scarf that he's been wearing all week.

"Yeah we really should start hanging out more, especially since we graduate this year." Daichi immediately stopped talking because he realized what he said. You and Sugawara simultaneously smacked Daichi's arm.

"Shut up Daichi! Why the hell are you bringing that up!" Sugawara yelled, looking so disappointed in Daichi for bringing up the taboo topic that you guys agreed to never talk about.

"I'm sorry! It slipped out! And it's hard not to think about!"

"Daichi! Stop please! I'm already starting to cry!"

You weren't lying. You didn't want to say goodbye to them. Sugawara looked at you with concern and sadness, but then frowned at Daichi.

"Good job, Daichi." Sugawara muttered, rubbing your back for support.
