The phrase, "Hey, you'll be late to class", was left imprinted on your wrist. By whom you ask? You don't know. It all started when you were walking to school. You were already a bit late if you kept walking, so you decided to run at full speed towards the school's gate.

Being as clumsy as ever, you ran into a group of people and ended up knocking everyone, including yourself down. In that pile of high schoolers, both male and female, was your soulmate. All of your things were on the ground, and you hurriedly put your things back in your bag one by one. No one who was around you helped you, which was understandable because they would be late to class too. But as you were looking down from picking up your things, you heard a boy say to you, "Hey, you'll be late to class."

You sighed and you were about to reply back sarcastically at him, but he blended in with the crowd of students heading into the school. It could be any one of those boys, but who?

Up until this day, you still don't know who it is. It's been 6 months since that incident, and your mind was always on it. You have made an effort into trying to find who that boy was, but it's almost impossible for two reasons.

One, the school is freaking huge and it's difficult to talk to every boy. And two, because you didn't say anything to him back, he won't try to look for you at all.

"This mission can only be completed by me...I am the chosen one..." You mumbled to yourself.

"Okay, ___-san you're taking to yourself again and it's creeping me out." Kenma said to you.

You groaned and put your head on the desk. "Kenma-kun, it would be so much easier if you were my soulmate. We've been friends for so long with Kuroo-kun and-"

"But Kuroo is already my-"

"I know that!! You two are so lucky! You found out you were each other's soulmates from like the second you two talked to each other. DO YOU REALIZE HOW IT FEELS TO BE THE THIRD WHEEL SINCE CHILDHOOD??"

Kenma still had a blank face, but that changed once you started sniffling.

"Ugh, I'm so stupid to be crying over this, but I'm so tired of trying." You raised your head from the table and wiped your eyes. "And why these words of all the words existing in our language vocabulary?!"

Kenma had a sad smile on his face. "___-san, I feel like I can't do anything to help you, but I'll try." He said with determination.

You sniffled again and raised your eyebrow, confused on how he could help you. "How?" You asked him with curiosity written all over your face.

"I bet most of the guys on our volleyball team hasn't found their soulmate, what if one of them is yours?"

You suddenly got really excited. What if one of them was your soulmate?

You would beat him up immediately because those words will stay on your wrist forever.

"Hey Kenma-kun, should I purposely say something stupid so if my soulmate was one of them it'd be written on their wrist forever?" You said to him, already laughing to yourself.
