Iwaizumi x Reader

You and Iwaizumi have been friends for a long, long time. You even secretly had a huge crush on him to this day. You two were walking down the hall on the way to the cafeteria, until you bumped into a girl.

"Oh! Sorry!" You bowed down, apologizing.

"It's fine!" She said, then turned to Iwaizumi. "Iwaizumi-kun! I didn't see you there? Can you come with me for a second?" She asked, putting her hands together.

Iwaizumi cocked his eyebrow, "Fine then, I'll be back ___." He said before he left with the girl.

You furrowed your eyebrows, being left behind. You crossed your arms and pouted your lips. "Well then..." You muttered to yourself, heading to the cafeteria alone. Grabbing your lunch, you walked to the usual spot where you eat with Iwaizumi and Oikawa, but both of them weren't there yet. You sighed as you say down on the bench, opening your sandwich.

Once you took a bite out of your delicious sandwich, you faintly heard Iwaizumi's voice all of the sudden. You put you sandwich down quietly, following his voice. He was on the other side of the corner, and out of curiosity, you peeked your head sneakily to see him.

You saw Iwaizumi and the girl that you bumped into hugging each other. Your eyes widened in disbelief and hid behind the corner. You couldn't believe what was happening.

"Ahh ___-chan, there you a-" You saw Oikawa and covered his mouth to keep quiet.

"Shh, they can't hear us!" You whispered, trying to hear of there were footsteps coming towards you. Luckily, there weren't any footsteps.

"What's going on ___-chan?" Oikawa asked, muffling his words.

"Hajime-kun is with a girl right now." You scoffed, trying to be quiet as possible.

"Iwa-chan with a girl? But he told me he l-"

"SHHHHH!" You added more pressure on his mouth with your hand, cutting him off. You heard footsteps coming. You immediately panicked and ran away, pulling Oikawa with you. You two ended up at the bench where you're usually at, and sat down, acting casually.

You continued to eat your sandwich, as Oikawa was still confused with the whole situation. Suddenly beginning to feel sad, you put your sandwich down and looked down at it. You gripped it, and Oikawa took a notice of this.

"Are you okay ___-chan?" He asked, rubbing your back for comfort. You sighed and shook your head no.

"I'm actually jealous of her." You admitted.

"But this doesn't make sense, he told me he li-... Maybe this is a huge misunderstanding." He said, getting up from the bench.

"Where are you going Oikawa-kun?" You questioned, looking up at him.

"I'm sure this isn't what it looked like. I'll be back." He responded back, walking back to where Iwaizumi was. You stared at him walking away until he reached the corner. He took one peek and immediately ran back to where you were.

"What happ-"

"That's my Ex-girlfriend ___-chan!!" He exclaimed to you, grabbing your shoulders and began to shake you.

"What are you tal-" Oikawa cut you off once more.

"The girl he was hugging used to be my girlfriend last week! I broke up with her because she didn't understand that I had to practice for volleyball!" He clarified, shaking you more and more until you started feeling dizzy.

"Really??" You asked with a surprise look on your face. He stopped shaking you and held a finger up.

"Maybe that's why they were hugging! They were hugging because he wanted to comfort her! Or, if anything, she wanted to take him for herself, WHICH I WOULD NOT ALLOW!" He screamed unexpectedly, making you flinch.

"That's good." You sighed in relief, but still worried if the second part of what Oikawa said was true. You then stood on your feet, determined that you would confess your feelings. Right aw you started walking towards to where they were at, you froze, feeling nervous about what you were going to do. You instantly began blushing and turned back to Oikawa.

"I DON'T THINK I COULD DO THIS!!" You admitted, holding your face. Oikawa gasped, "YES YOU CAN ___-chan! OKAY I'LL PUSH HER OUT OF THE WAY!" He planned, holing out a thumbs up.

"Yeah! W-wait what? YOU CAN'T JUST PUSH HER OIKAWA-KUN!"

"YES I CAN! ILL MAKE SURE SHE'S AWAY FROM IWA-CHAN! OKAY LET'S GO!" He screamed, getting ready to run. You gave up and took a deep breath. He began running at full speed first, you following behind him.

"AHHHHHH!" He screamed to create a distraction. The two of them turned their heads to him as he ran to the girl pulling her away. "Go ___-chan!!!!" He yelled out, running away from your sight.

"What's going o-" Iwaizumi began asking, but you cut him off.

"I LIKE YOU!" You confessed, shutting your eyes as tight as you could. Before you knew it, you felt a pair of arms wrap around you, making you reopen your eyes.

"Are you serious?" Iwaizumi asked, whispering in a tone disbelief. You blushed at his touch and nodded your head. He faced you and cupped your cheeks.

"I do too." He said, revealing his true feelings towards you. You blushed by his confession, and noticed he had a slight blush on his face also.

"Really?" You whispered, smiling from happiness. He nodded his head softly. You then turned away from his gaze. "Then why were you hugging that girl?" You asked quietly, showing a hint of disappointment and jealousy.

"Don't worry about her, she just wanted to use me make Oikawa jealous. That was stupid because I knew he didn't want her back. I like you ___." He explained, caressing your cheek. Once you heard those words, the feeling of distress disappeared, making you glad.

"I'm happy." You said, looking back at him, smiling a huge smile.

He chuckled, "So am I." He said, before he hugged you once more.
