The Sound Of Silence: Chapter 1:

When Funny loses his voice, the gang has to try and get it back and make him feel better.

It was a sunny day and the main 6 decided to go to Funny so they could go through one of funny's adventure doors to go to prehistoric world so that we can meet up with the friend's T-top and Tilly.

On the way, they went through a cave. Funny has never been inside a cave before. Nor did he know what an echo was. He was really excited and started to make a love echo sounds.

"Echo echo!" said Funny.

His echo came back to him, and Funny was shocked. He didn't know what echoes were, so he was feeling a bit scared.

"What was that." said funny?

"It's called an echo, Funny. It happens when sound waves bounce off a large area of space." Minnie giggled

"Oooh, that's so cool." He said with excitement.

Just then, Tilly and T-top came from the corner and went into the cave, squealing with excitement.

"Hiya, Tilly. Hiya,T-top." Goofy said as he patted their head.

The 2 Triceratops motioned over to the gang to tell them that they wanted to bring them somewhere.

Before they could say anything, they were already scurrying off to another part of a forest not far away.

"Come on guys, let's go." Donald said as he started to follow the duo.

"I think I'm going to stay here for a while and do some more echoes." Funny said.

"OK, Funny. We'll be right here if you need us." Mickey called back.

While the gang was playing with the Triceratops, Funny stayed in the cave, making echoes. He was making a lot of sounds and was having lots of fun until he felt a weird tickle in his throat.

He started to cough a bit but decided to ignore it. But when he tried to make more echoes, all that came out of his mouth was a squeak. And a small blue, glowing orb floated out of his mouth and disappeared.

He started to panic. The more he tried to talk, the more squeaking that came out of his mouth. He decided to poof away and try to find the gang.

Mickey and the gang were playing with the Triceratops. When Funny came over looking very distressed.

"What's wrong, Funny." Asked Daisy.

Funny tried to talk, but he just couldn't. No matter how much he tried, nothing would come out of his mouth.

"Hmmmm. Did you forget to close the stairs to anywhere the door?" asked Goofy.

Funny shook his head and denied it.

"Did you forget to turn your cooker off?" Asked Donald.

Funny once again shook his head and denied it.

"Were you eating super sticky toffees and got your lips stuck together?" Asked Daisy.

Everyone turned round to look at Daisy in confusion.

"Just throwing it out there." She defended.

Funny once again shook his head and defeat, looking a bit upset and fed up.

"I think Funny's trying to say that he lost his voice. Is that right, Funny?" Minnie asked.

Funny nodded his head happily.

"But how did this happen?" Mickey asked.

"We'll figure it out once we get to the Funhouse and call Doctor Clarabelle." Minnie said.

They said goodbye to their Triceratops friends and headed back to the Funhouse to call Doctor Clarabelle. Once she got there, she gave Funny a check-up to see what was wrong.

"Well, I found the problem." She said.

"What is it. Is Funny ok?" Asked Daisy.

"Well, it seems that he lost his voice from straining it too much." She answered.

"Ooh. It must have been from all the echoing you were doing." Goofy said.

Funny's confused face turned into an 'oooh I get it' face.

"Until his voice comes back, he can't talk." Clarabelle said.

Those words hit Funny like a wrecking ball. Talking was almost impossible for him to do no talking, no laughing, no singing, he didn't think he could do it.

"All you need to do is make sure he drinks lots of fluids and tea. That will help soothe his throat." She said as she packed her doctor bag.

"Thank you, Clarabelle." Minnie said as she waved.

"Any time. Bye, bye now." She walked out the door.

Funny's face was filled with distraught. He was so upset that he wasn't able to talk. He didn't even know if his voice would come back at all. Minnie saw his face and tried to reassure him.

"Don't worry, Funny. It's going to be OK." She said.

"We'll just have to wait it out. We can still have fun anyway." Mickey said, trying to brighten the situation.

Funny sighed. A long day awaits him.
