A Funny day in Hot Dog Hills: Chapter 1

Funny joins the gang at the garage.

Today was a big day. The gang was going to have a race around Hot Dog Hills. They got their roasters ready and headed to the starting line.

"Helllooo, Hot Dog Hills!" Billy cheered from the blimp. "It sure is a fine day for a race. And here are the racers now. It's the Sensational Six!" The gang came to the starting line and got ready to race.

"Ooo, I can't wait for the race to start." Minnie said.

"Me neither. It's always so much fun." Daisy told her.

"On your marks, get set, go!" And the race is on.

"I wonder what the gang are doing?" Funny pondered as he looked over funhouse forest. After a while, he decided to watch some TV.

He poofed into the house and scrolled through the channels. That was until he saw the live streaming of the race. He grew interested and kept watching. Soon enough, he saw the gang.

"Oh my gutters! Those are my friends! They're the Sensational Six racers!" He said.

He kept looking at the race, but he couldn't get a great view . So he thought, why couldn't he just poof to the race itself. So that's exactly what he did.

The race was going well, and everyone was going so fast. Daisy went round a bend and heard someone cheering for her. A familiar voice. She looked to her left and saw a blue face projected onto a tree.

"Daisy, watch out!" Minnie called out through her headset.

Daisy looked forward, and she was heading straight into a bush. She quickly swerved out of the way.

"Are you OK, Daisy?" Minnie asked through her headset.

"Yea, I'm fine. But I think I just saw Funny."

"In the crowd?"

"No. In his Funhouse form."

"Funny can't be out and about in his Funhouse form. Nobody can find out he's magical."

"Which is why we need to keep an eye out. Tell the rest of the gang about this."

"Will do."

Minnie told the rest of the gang, and they kept an eye up. And sure enough, they saw Funny poof up many times throughout the race. Donald even almost crashed into a pond. After the race, they went into a secluded area behind a tree to try and talk to Funny.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? What if somebody sees him?" Goofy asked.

"This is a quiet place. And everyone's back at the starting line." Mickey said. He looked around before he knocked on the tree trunk.

"Knock knock, Funny."

Funny poofed onto the tree trunk and giggled.

"Gang, you were amazing! I had no idea you were the Sensational Six racers! You guys were going so fast it was like you were magic! I think cars might be a new interest for me, but I'm not really sure, and -" Funny stopped talking when he saw the gang starting at him.

You know that look your parents give you when you've done something wrong, but you don't know what you did? That was the look they were giving him right there. Funny cocked his head to the side.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that?"

"Because what you did was dangerous! Somebody could've seen you! Why were you in Hot Dog Hills in your Funhouse form?!" Donald asked.

"Well, I tried to watch it live, but it wasn't a good view. And all the crowds of people cheering would probably trigger an outburst. So I thought I could get a better look if I poofed around the track, and I see that isn't really helping my statement." Funny said, his voice growing quiet in the last sentence.

"Funny, this isn't an adventure door. People here aren't used to magic. If someone found out about you, then they might use your magic and your powers for evil." Daisy said.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that. I just wanted to hang out with you guys more."

Mickey smiled at him.

"It's OK, Funny. I guess we have been busy with races and the garage. How about you come with hs so you can get a tour of Hot Dog Hills." He said.

"Really?"

"Really? Is this a good idea?" Donald said.

"Of course it is. Funny can poof into his human form, and we'll take it from there." He said.

"That sounds like a plan. Are you ready, Funny?" Goofy asked.

"I sure am. Let's do it!"
