Funny has an allergic reaction after eating something with celery in it.
-------------------------------------------------------------

"Ooo. I can't wait to taste the soup. Thanks for cooking, Mortimer." Funny said as he smelled the air.

The gang and Mortimer were over at the funhouse, and Mortimer offered to cook for them. Funny poofed into the kitchen to check on everything.

"Hiya, Mortimer."

"Hi, Funny. What's up?"

"Just checking in. Wow, look at all those yummy veggies." He said.

"They do look good, huh?"

Funny looked in the pot and saw something that looked a bit like celery.

"Uhh, Mortimer. Is there celery in this?"

"Huh? Oh, I don't know. I just chucked a bunch of stuff in there. Why?"

"Because I'm allergic to celery. Are you sure you didn't put any celery in there?"

"Yea, I'm sure. It's all good."

"Great. I can't wait to eat it." Funny said as he poofed back into the living room.

"I can't wait to taste that soup." Mickey said.

"Me too. I got a good look at it, and it looks amazing." Funny said, now in his human form.

Soon, Mortimer finished the soup and brought it to the gang. While they were eating, Funny started to feel weird, he was itchy, and hives were beginning to appear on his arms and legs. Minnie looked up at him with worry.

"Funny, are you alright?" She asked.

Funny was going to answer, but he couldn't. His chest felt tight, and he was feeling hot and cold at the same time. He was gasping for breath, and he was starting to get a rash on his neck. Minnie stood up and quickly rushed to Funny's aid, the gang helping as well.

"What's wrong with him?" Donald asked.

"I think he's having an allergic reaction." Daisy said.

"Goofy, call Care-a-belle." Mickey said.

Goofy rushed to the phone and rang up Care-a-belle. While the gang laid Funny down on the ground, Mortimer looked terrified. What was happening?

Care-a-belle quickly flew in from the Magestica door and grabbed something out of her bag. She took off the cap and jabbed it into Funny's thigh. For the first time in minutes, Funny was able to take an actual breath of air. They slowly sat him up as he took some more deep breaths.

"What happened?" He asked breathlessly.

"You had an allergic reaction." Care-a-belle said.

"But how? I wasn't allergic to anything in there. Unless.." They all looked at the bowl and sure enough, there were pieces  of celery floating around.

"Mortimer, I thought you said there wasn't any celery in here." Funny said.

"I was sure of it. Well, I wasn't really paying attention to what I was putting in there." He said.

"Mortimer, you need to be careful when you're cooking. Things like this are nothing to sneeze at. Funny could've been in deep trouble if I didn't give him the epipen. Food allergies are dangerous and you need to pay attention to what you put in food." Care-a-belle said to him.

Mortimer felt guilty. He didn't meen for this to happen.

"Funny, I'm so sorry. I didn't meen for this to happen and I didn't mean to put your life at risk."

"That's OK, Mortimer. I know you didn't mean it." Funn said, scratching at his hives. Care-a-belle gently took his hand away.

"Don't scratch at them, dear. It'll make them worse." She said.

She took some cream from her bag and rubbed it on his skin. He started to laugh.

"That tickes." He sad through his giggles.

"I'm almost done. How does that feel?"

"Much better." He sighed.

"That's good. It's working." She said.

"Is Funny gonna be OK?" Goofy asked.

"Oh he'll be fine. We'll just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get any worse." She said packing up her bag. Once she left, Funny was feeling loads better. He tried to get up but Daisy pushed him back down.

"Funny you need to stay here. We need to make sure you don't get any worse." She said.

"OK. But I feel bored just sitting here doing nothing."

"Well how about we play a game."

"That sounds great."

They all went and got uno out for all of them to play, it almost distracted Funny from the itchiness. The gang decided to sleep over for the night to keep an eye on him. And with some fun games, and a little TLC, Funny would be back to his old self in no time.
