"You're the best." You smiled and hugged (Friend's name).
"I know." She joked and then said, "Thanks."
"But, do we really need a plan? I mean, why not be myself?" You looked at her.
She held up a hand. "I didn't say a plan. I said I was going to help. We need to go from a social caterpillar." She gestured to you. "To a social butterfly." She held her arms out as if they were wings.
You laughed. "I am social!"
"But, you're not social enough. You were the social caterpillar in Art." She pointed out.
"Okay, fine. You should stay the night." You smiled.
(Friend's name) grinned and pulled out her phone. "I'll text my Mom." A minute later, she nodded. "She said 'sure.'"
"Yes! I'll go with you to get your things." You stood up. (Friend's name)'s house was at the street next to yours.
"Okay. Let's go!" (Friend's name) said enthusiastically.
You chuckled and left the room with her.
--
"Okay, social caterpillar, let's get started!" (Friend's name) clapped her hands together.
You two had already gotten her stuff from her house. (Your Mom agreed to the sleepover.)
"So, (girl name) asks you a question. I'll be her: (f/n), what was your first cosplay?" (Friend's name) moved her hair out of her face.
"(First cosplay)." You answered. [If you haven't cosplayed, it's what you want to cosplay.]
"Good, good. We might make a lot of progress." (Friend's name) gave you an approving smile.
Relief washed over you. "Ask me another question."
"Okay. What was the first anime you watched?" She asked.
"(Pokémon/first anime)." You said. [If you haven't watched Pokémon or you don't count it, you answer with the first anime you watched.]
"Good!" (Friend's name) smiled. "I think we're done. I don't want you to fully transform. The caterpillar is a part of you."
You chuckled. "Okay. What do we do now?"
"Truth or Dare?" (Friend's name) suggested.
"Ooh! I'll go first!" You grinned.
"Okay. Ask away." She shrugged.
"Truth or Dare?" You asked.
"Truth." (Friend's name) chose.
You tapped your chin thoughtfully before a smirk came. "Have you ever been in love?"
"Yes." She answered reluctantly. "Anyway truth--"
Your eyes widened in surprise before you grinned evily. "Who?"
"Uh, no one." She answered, nervous.
"You just said you have been in love." You pointed out. "Who are, or were, you in love with?" You crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow.
"Um. ." She let out a sigh in defeat. "Fine. . Marco Bodt." She blushed. "I still am."
You grinned. "Let me be friends with Jean."
(Friend's name) was about to protest. But, you held up a hand, making her close her mouth. "Look, Jean's best friend is Marco. If you tag along, you can get to know him better. Maybe you'll find friendship with Jean and his friends."
"Okay, fine. I'll do it." (Friend's name) grumbled.
"Yes! And don't be miserable about it. Also, don't fake your personality." You told her.
"Okay, okay!" She laughed, holding her hands up in surrender.
"Truth or Dare?" (Friend's name) asked.
"Dare." You answered.
"I dare you to. ."
-
You stared at the phone in your hand. "Do I have to?"
"Yes. Go on." (Friend's name) smirked.
You typed in a random number."Hello?" A male voice said on the other line.
You put on your best fake accent and said, "Hello. I had a lot of fun last night. I think we should do it again right now. Just come over, yeah?" You were trying not to laugh and you were succeeding.
A minute of silence went by before the voice said, "Okay, sure. Where are you? What's the address?"
"Shrek Island!" You said. "Sorry, I was dared." You quietly whispered when (friend's name) was busy laughing. You quickly ended the call. You made sure (Friend's name)'s number was blocked before you called.
You felt really bad about it. (Friend's name) looked over at you, "What's wrong?"
"I feel kind of bad about the phone call." You stared at your hands that were in your lap.
"Don't worry about it. I heard you apologize. Plus, it was my fault. Let me take you to the movies next Sunday." (Friend's name) put a hand on your shoulder and looked at you.
"Okay. What movie?" You asked.
"Jurassic World."
