The next day, you took a shower. You changed into a mint green top, ripped black skinny jeans and Chuck Taylor Classic Black Monochrome Shoes. You brushed your hair and teeth, put on deodorant, etc. You put on a gray beanie.

You smiled and texted Jean:

When are you leaving for the guy trip?

Jean replied:

Right now. :(

You sent:

Why are you putting a sad face? It'll be fun!

He texted:

You won't be there.

You typed:

Yeah, but I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. It's only two weeks, right?
He sent:

Yeah, true. I'll enjoy myself. It's supposed to be relaxing, you're right. But, I need to go. Bye. <3

You replied:

Bye. <3

You let out a sigh and put your phone on the table. You poured yourself some cereal and ate it, washing the bowl afterwards.

You texted Krista:

Hi.

She replied:

Hey. Do you want to come over?

You typed:

Sure. It's (random address), right?

Krista sent:

Yep. :)

You texted:

Okay. I'll be there in twenty minutes, at the most.

She replied:

Kk. See you soon!

You sent a text to your Mom, who was out shopping:

I'll be at my friend's house. It's (random address), by the way. You don't have to worry about anything. I'm going to drive there.

You got into your car and drove to Krista's house, (favorite band) playing on the radio.

Once you arrived, you parked your car (Krista sent you a text telling you to park in the driveway). You were greeted with a hug from Krista before being invited inside.

"Your outfit is so cute! We should go to the mall sometime." Krista smiled. You and her had bonded over the past few weeks.

"Sure." You shrugged with a smile.

Krista grabbed your hand, "I want to show you something." Confused, you followed her. She lead you into a room that had a canvas and paint, probably a painting room. "Over here." She walked towards a certain canvas. It was a painting of her and Ymir holding hands. "I don't know if she'll like it."

"Krista, that's so thoughtful! I'm positive that she'll love it. Positive." You grinned, hugging the girl.

"Thank you. You draw, right? I thought I should ask you about it." She said nervously.

"I haven't drawn in a while. But, the last drawing a drew was a month ago." You replied, a bit shy.

"Can I see?" She beamed.

You nodded and opened your drawing pad. You showed her the drawing of you and Jean looking at the (favorite animal)s. She looked at the drawing in awe and went back a page, seeing the drawing of a wolf. You had spent a few days on it.

"This is. . Incredible." She breathed. "Have you shown Jean your latest drawing?"

You shook your head. "I'm too. . Embarrassed. I mean, what if he doesn't like it?"

"I'm positive he'll love it. Positive." She replied, quoting you.

You playfully rolled your eyes. "Are you sure, Krista?"

"I'm sure, (y/n). Trust me. I'm going to text him." She said, pulling out her phone.

You raised an eyebrow. "Text him what?"

"That you have a drawing you have to show him when he returns." She tapped on her phone.

"No, no, no! Don't! I don't want to. . Yet." You glanced at the floor.

"Annnd. ." Krista began.

"No. Krista, no." You said, seriousness laced your voice.

"Sent." She said, watching as you fell on the floor.

"Kris!" You whined. "I'm not ready."

"Why not, (n/n)? You'll thank me later, you know." Krista smiled.

"Yeah, I'll thank you. . Never." You scowled.

Krista rolled her eyes. "(y/n), what's the worst that could happen?"

"Oh, I don't know. He could hate it." You rolled your eyes.

"That's absolutely unlikely, okay? He will love it. He'd be crazy not to." She encouraged.

"Okay, maybe you're right. I'm sorry." You sighed.

"For what? You did nothing wrong." She smiled. A frown appeared on her face as she looked at her phone. "Crap," She muttered. "My date with Ymir is in an hour! I lost track of time!"

"It's okay. I'll help. Is it casual?" You asked.

"Yeah, but I want it to be nice. Thank you." She gave you a small smile, which you returned.

"You're welcome. Let's see. ." You looked through her closet. "How about this?" You pulled out a pink sleeveless top that had a black rose on it.

"It's perfect. I'll wear some shorts with it and white tennis shoes." She clapped her hands together and hugged you. You smiled and hugged back. She went into the bathroom and changed into the outfit. Once she was finished, you helped her with her makeup. You put her liquid eyeliner and pink lipstick on her. She also wore a tiny bit of blush.

"Thank you, (y/n)! It's amazing!" She grinned.

"No problem." You smiled. "Um, I should probably go. I wouldn't want to be here while you're out."

"Yeah. I had a good time." She hugged you.

You returned the hug. "Me too."

You said goodbye to her and drove home. You parked your car and entered the house.

I love you all. You're all so amazing, even if I don't really know you, I still think so. You matter. Trust me.
