You entered the house and ran towards the living room. "Mom?!"
Your Mom ran into the living room where you and your Dad were. "(f/n)! (d/n)! Where were you guys?!" She hugged both of you.
"We went bowling and then grabbed something to eat. We brought some for you. We forgot to leave a note. I'm really sorry." You explained.
"It's fine now. But, please remember to next time. I was so worried!" Your Mom sighed.
Your Dad hugged her. "It's alright. I'm sorry."
"It's okay." Your Mom hugged him back. "I have an idea. ."
An hour later, you re-entered the living room. You had on a black shirt, a leather jacket, black leggings and black short boots. You also had on some eyeliner and lip gloss. "Is this necessary?"
"Yes! Totally! Now let's do this." Your Mom smiled.
"Okay, fine." You sighed as you three entered the car.
Once you arrived at the restaurant, you noticed there was a stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for karaoke night?!" A girl yelled into the microphone. Everyone cheered. "Alright! Who wants to go first?! Remember, while others are singing, you can sign up to sing!" The girl took out a slip of paper and said, "Hocha Miralarsu, singing Shower by Becky G!" She handed the microphone to a girl who came on stage before she left the stage.
[I don't really care for that song. No offense!]
After Hocha was done, the girl went back to the stage. "Good job! Next up is Elnobico Harttimerniko singing. ."
[I want to make the names uncommon so you hopefully don't have them. Because it would be confusing for you with (f/n) and the same name. Example: "Heather, Heather!" Instead of "(f/n), Heather!"]
"Excuse me." You whispered to your parents. You got up and went to the sign-ups.
Once you were done, you sat down. After a few people, you heard, "(f/n) (l/n) singing Eyes Wide Open by Sabrina Carpenter!" You walked on stage and she handed you the microphone.
You whispered "Thank you" before the music started playing.
[This song is stuck in my head. Sorry.]
La di da da da na
YeahEverybody loves to tell me I was born an old soul
Better keep my eyes wide open
There's so much that I don't know
Just another hotel room
Never felt so all alone
I think about my granddad's eyes,
And they always send me home
I can almost hear him now
Gotta make him proudI keep my eyes wide open
Bless this ground, unbroken
I'm about to make my way
Heaven help me keep my faith
And my eyes wide openI can't see two steps ahead of me,
When the fog comes rollin' in
I never thought I'd miss the rain
Lord knows how long it's been
This dream burns inside of me,
And I can't just let it go
There's still so much that I don't knowI keep my eyes wide open
Bless this ground, unbroken
I'm about to make my way
Heaven help me keep my faith
And my eyes wide openAll I have is just this moment
I don't want to miss a second
'Cause it could all be gone in an instant
Yeah, in an instant...I keep my eyes wide open
Bless this ground, unbroken
I'm about to make my way
Heaven help me keep my faith
And my eyes wide openI'm about to make my way
Heaven help me keep my faith
My eyes wide openKeep my eyes...wide...open
Once the song was over, you handed the woman the microphone and sat down as people applauded.
