Everyone, I have terrible news to share. Whether your a multi-fanfic fan of mine or you only ever read Tale of the Cat and the Fox, I'd like to first thank you for all your reads, votes, comments and adding my story to your reading lists. I value all of it and appreciate it with all my heart.
But I have awful news to share with all you. For you see, none of you are done with me yet. And I'm not done yet. For I have officially watched season two of Tale of the nine-tailed in full and I was struck by the writing powers above and my one strand of graphic design skill struck.

And before any one of you point out it and I have to address it a bunch, yeah Gayoung's supposed face claim did change. I perused the face claim books while coming up with new fanfic ideas, I'm never done, watched season two, was fixing up this fanfic to make it all match aesthetically, found shin se kyung and thus came a new face to the name. I'm really liking this change, I hope you do as well, and if you don't then keep imaging Gayoung as Suzy or as someone else but please no negativity as my vibe in this new year is to vibe peacefully and if I have to delete comments then I will.
Yes, I know Shin Se Kyung and Dong-wook worked together for Blade-Man, but that just fits nicely as I don't see her getting used as a face claim often, and she and Dong-wook match in age pretty well, which was my main concern when picking any face claim.
Also, Gayoung and Yeon are so old, if you think about it. If we subtract from 2023, when the show takes place and aired, Yeon's age, then he was born sometime around 423. And if we do that same simple equation but for Gayoung's age, then she was born around 573. Like these two, have seen kingdoms come and go, empires rise and fall, and here they are just living their best lives, like good on them. Season two is going to be extremely stressful for them, but they got each other; it's fine ❤️.
But yeah, I've returned from my "hiatus" with this story. Don't start getting worried; I'm not coming back soon, like tomorrow or the day after; it'll be at least mid-to-late February or early March before I start uploading chapters for season two, but they're coming.
( We have a specific date for when season two of The Cat and the Fox is coming out. I'm going to publish just the first chapter early, and then starting March 8th, be prepared for a bombardment of chapters. I currently have three finished chapters that are going to be coming out one at a time and going to be trying to stick to a Friday, Saturday, Sunday update schedule.) - February 25th, 2024
