After all the flurry over the past couple of days I had something I could actually look forward to. Today Babel/Wusang and Jipuragi were finally gonna clash in court. And yes, I finally got to meet the Vincenzo in person. You can't even imagine how excited I was. Well, technically we already met at the warehouse, but I think that doesn't count. Does it?
Han-Seok, me and the others were just about to walk into the building when we heard the roaring of a motor. Definitely a sports car. I stopped and turned around to see.
It was a baby blue (okay) Lamborghini Aventador. Holy Moly!

Whoever the driver was, they had f*cking good taste

Whoever the driver was, they had f*cking good taste. What a car.
The doors opened and out came none other than Hong Cha-Young and Vincenzo. Of course he looked f*cking dashing.

Suddenly I felt a tuck on my arm. I turned around to see Han-Seok staring at the pair in anger. „Stop gawking and get going!", he ordered.
Was he jealous? My oh my. Our game probably just took an interesting turn.

We were talking strategics before the trial started, when I saw Cha-Young and Vincenzo approaching. I looked at him more closely, he really peaked my interest at this point and I'm not only talking look-wise.
Then our eyes met. It felt like electricity shooting through my body, right down to ... lower parts. I was so captivated, I couldn't look away. He gave me a small smile as he entered the courtroom. And just like that the magic was gone.
I turned my attention back to the conversation and noticed Han-Seok giving me an ice cold stare. Jealousy, jealousy. But seriously, he really needed to get his game face on, because we were about to start the trial.
"Ready, Miss Kim?", Mrs. Choi asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be", I responded with a huge smile.
"Then show us what you got", Mr. Han said encouragingly.
"Oh, I'm planning on it, sir."
I was buzzing with anticipation: Let the games begin!

We came out of the courtroom a couple hours later, me high on adrenaline. I didn't want to toot my own horn here, but I was a-ma-zing. Cha-Young made it way too easy for me to completely obliterate her.
„Miss Kim, you were more than impressive in there", Mrs. Choi said acknowledgingly.
„Yeah, Su-Mi. That was amazing!", Han-Seo giddily agreed.
„Oh please, it was nothing. I was just doing my job." I tried to seem humble, but really was eating up all the compliments.
„But you did it extremely well, Miss Kim. I think this calls for a reward", Han-Seok said as he stepped beside me, staring at me intently. Then he leaned down towards my ear and whispered: „A special reward, if you ask me." Oh, that's what I'm talking about, Mr. Chairman.
Then he turned his attention to the others: „Let's go have lunch. My treat."
They cheered and were eager to leave. I wanted to follow when I noticed Vincenzo stepping out of the courtroom. He saw me and made his way over, so I hung back.
„Good work in there, Miss Kim. I am very impressed and that's not an easy thing to do."
„Thank you, Mr. ...?", I asked, pretending not to know. Just like he did. I'm pretty sure he recognized me. Our meeting at Babel Pharmaceuticals was brief, but he saw my face. His eyes lingered on me for a second, observing, waiting to see some sign of recognition on my side. He did not. Well, two can play at this game Mr. Cassano.
When he realized that I wouldn't give anything away, he resumed our conversation.
„Oh right. How rude of me. Let me introduce myself: I'm Vincenzo Cassano. But please, call me Vincenzo. I'm the legal advisor of Jipuragi Law Firm." Even though I'm not that familiar with italian culture, I believe they kiss each others cheeks in greeting. Unfortunately though he only held out his hand for me to shake. However, I gladly took it.
„A colleague. If that's so, Vincenzo, than you may call me Su-Mi."
„Alright, Su-Mi."
As my gaze shifted to behind Vincenzo, I noticed Cha-Young standing there, with a sour expression on her face. What was up with her? Jealous, or what? Was I only dealing with jealous people today? But very intruiging nonetheless. That just made meeting him a lot more interesting. Let's see how much she's into him, shall we?
Before I could talk to Vincenzo some more, we got rudely interrupted by Cha-Young. „Vincenzo! You're coming?"
He turned his head in her direction. „Yes, be right there." Shifting his attention back to me he said: "Su-Mi, I'm afraid our conversation has to be cut short. But I hope we see each other again soon."
I definitely wouldn't mind at all, to be honest.
„Well, it was nice meeting you, Vincenzo."
„Nice meeting you too. Su-Mi." How he said my name while looking into my eyes made me shiver. That man was something else.
He turned around and left with Cha-Young, but not before throwing me another smile over his shoulder.
I saw Han-Seok still standing there, a little down the hallway, apparently waiting for me.
„Are you coming? The others are waiting." He sounded annoyed. Jesus. I hoped he wouldn't get complicated, because, where is the fun in that, right?
„Yes, I'm coming", I said and made my way towards him. "So, when do I get my special reward?"
„Never."
I looked at him confused. „What? Why?"
„Changed my mind." That was all the explanation I got. Seriously? I was so looking forward to that special reward, because I got a hunch of what it could have been. If I found his jealousy interesting before, I didn't do so anymore.
