"I have an idea and you might love it or hate it" you announced, walking into your shared bedroom. Matt was on the bed, his right arm behind his head to prop it up while his left hand held his phone.
"Shoot" Matt encouraged, using his elbows to sit up.
"I was on Tik Tok" you started and he couldn't help but laugh because it seemed like he heard you say those words a million times a day. "And there's a challenge where couples wear each other's clothes and they dance to this song, and..."
"You want us to do it?" Matt finished your sentence, raising his eyebrow.
"Yeah" you smiled, moving to the bed and sitting on your knees. There was something childlike about how you looked at him with so much hope and Matt found himself defeated.
"Okay" you squealed, jumping off the bed and rushing to your closet.
"You know, Chris and Madi did a similar video and it blew up. People loved it" you said, trying to convince him.
"Are you using me for TikTok views?" Matt asked, forcing himself out of his comfortable position.
"Of course" you smiled. "Why else would I have married you?" Your joke was enough to get him on his feet, where he wrapped his arms around your waist, chest pressed against your back and rested his chin on your shoulder.
"Did you say you're gonna put me in your clothes?" He kissed your neck softly. You sank into his touch, tilting your head slightly to welcome his kisses.
You hummed, scanning your clothes for an option. "I'm thinking a dress or a skirt. Something sleeveless? Show off those arms of yours"
"Oh, for sure a dress. If we're doing this, we're doing it right" you loved Matt's willingness to partake in your shenanigans.
"I like the way you think" you smirked, pulling away from his grip and going to where your dresses were hanging. Matt watched with his arms crossed, smiling as you mumbled to yourself.
"Okay, this is good. It's smocked, so it can fit over your shoulders and chest" you explained, turning around and smiling as you walked to your accessories.
"I like the yellow" He said, taking the dress in his hands.
"Now, you have to find something for me" you told him, deciding on hair clips to hold his hair back. He scanned his clothes, feeling overwhelmed. He was used to seeing you in his clothes, but those were always his old shirts and jumpers. This was different.
"This okay?" Matt asked, holding up a cardigan he had stuffed in the back of his closet for the past few months. Your eyes widened and you smiled widely.
"Shut up" you warned, not wanting him to get your hopes up. "I love it. It looks so cosy" you stuck your hands out, ready to welcome the soft garment.
"It is" he smiled, finding you a shirt to wear underneath and proposing you wear blue jeans with it. You exchanged clothes, stripping down to put on your new attire. Matt struggled to pull the dress over his shoulders. With his arms in the air, you pulled on the dress, getting it into place and Matt let out a deep breath.
"You look pretty" you laughed, pinning his hair to the side. He smiled down at you, adjusting his chain around your neck.
"The things I do for you" he shook his head, kissing your forehead.
"It'll be worth it. We'll be TikTok famous!" You promised
"We better be!" He warned, pulling on the straps adorning his body. "Or else I'll be holding this dress hostage!"
