A/N - just like to say i don't suffer from narcolepsy, but i had a look at how different people are effected to write this. sorry if it offends anyone. i'd be happy to change bits if it isn't accurate!

Ever since you were little, all you wanted to do is sleep. Sleeping was all you'd ever known.

It wasn't because you were lazy, it was because you were blessed with narcolepsy. However, it wasn't the worst thing in the world.

It was annoying, but it can be an advantage in some situations. For example, if someone's speaking to you that you just don't like, you can pretend to fall asleep and then blame it on your condition. It is annoying though when you and your boyfriend, Matt, are trying to have a nice meal and you can't help but fall asleep.

Your story with Matt was a funny one.

Your friend and you, bought tickets to the Sturniolo's. You made your friend by the tickets because you were hopeless when it came to the internet. What you forgot to tell her was your budget, which ended up with you both having front row tickets.

The show was amazing- in your opinion. This show was beneficial to you, and you alone, because halfway through the show you became very tired. You rested your head on your friends shoulder and Matt noticed you. To this day, it's still embarrassing to you.

You remember Matt joking about how you found them boring and they were putting you to sleep, and you yelled back that it was nothing personal.

Near the end of the show, when your post show depression was starting to kick in, you got a note from security. What you never expected was the note to be from Matt.

'Hey, it's Matt. Call me so I can find out yours'

You were flattered that he took the time to write you a note, so you obviously called him up with your name.

From then on, you were inseparable.

When you told Matt you had narcolepsy, he wasn't phased. You expected him to run away, but he stayed. Matt assured you it was no big deal, but you couldn't help but feel sorry for him. When he comes home from work, he just wants to be with you, but you are normally asleep and it made you feel bad.

Matt was currently in rehearsal for their new tour

Matt showed you some ideas they had one night on the way home from a boring meeting, complaining about how he needed to do something fun. So you two ended up driving around until 3am.

Matt was doing interviews today in LA. He was in a room with his brothers and other people around them, making them look good and preparing them for questions. Madi sat on the couch, behind where the cameras were set up, with you.

You yawned to yourself about to drift off and so bunched yourself up tight in the corner of the couch, knees close to your chest.

Matt saw you move and being the protective boyfriend he was, he excused himself to make his way over to you. He kneeled down in front of you and put his hands on your knees.

"You okay?" He asked. You hadn't been to sleep yet, so you were able to hold a conversation with him.

"Matt, you're supposed to be in an interview" you mumbled. He was always wary about you when you went to sleep. There always had to be someone around to make sure your heart rate didn't get too high, or too low, and Matt was that person. "You know I'm okay"

"I know, I get nervous sometimes" you smiled at his concern and moved your arm to cup his cheek, which he leaned into.

"It's okay to be nervous, Matt. But, I'm okay" Matt nodded in response, feeling more confident. "And I'm not that far away from you"

"Okay" Matt stood up and kissed you on the forehead. You closed your eyes and felt yourself falling asleep. Matt turned to Madi. "Keep an eye on her, will you?"

"I'm fine, Matt" you told him, not wanting him to get in trouble for staying with you. Madi laughed next to you and you could hear Matt laugh as he headed back to his interview.
