Something warm and heavy shifted with a grunt on top of you and a breath washed over your cheek.

You realised, you were being squished by something. And that something was snoring in your ear and had its lips on your shoulder.

You groaned, blinking your eyes to find Matt, who was nearly on top of you to begin with as you'd fallen asleep last night, at some point, he rolled over and blanket you. He looked like a sleepy child who draped over their parent's shoulder after falling asleep on the way home.

"Morning" you whispered, kissing his forehead.

He sucked in a breath. "Morning" he rasped in his morning voice, keeping his eyes closed. "Did I wake you?"

So long without him and you could stand him sleeping on you. "It's okay" you ran your fingers through his hair. "It's a good squish?"

"What time is it?" He tried to lift his head to look at the clock on the beside table, but his limbs felt too relaxed and he was far too happy to move.

"Early" you mumbled, combing your fingers through his hair. "Little past seven I think"

"I can't believe you're here and I'm snuggled in bed with you"

You nodded. "I'm happy to be waking up here today"

"Let's stay in bed all day. I'll make grilled cheese sandwiches and I'll get a bunch of sodas, maybe we can get up to have a bath. I have that cheese you like. I made sure it was on the grocery kit for this morning"

You laughed. "Are you seducing me to stay in bed with a grilled cheese sandwich?"

Matt nodded into your chest. "Yes. Is it swaying you?"

You paused, thinking it over, just to tease him. "It is. You know the way to my heart, babe" you laughed and when he laughed, it vibrated through your chest. "My legs are going numb, the bath might have to come first"

He raised an eyebrow. "I could do with that. Last time I was here, I went to the store and bought those bath bombs you like"

"You went to Sephora by yourself?"

Matt shrugged. "I got some funny looks, but it's great in there"

"You like bath bombs too, don't lie"

Matt huffed. "I do" he admitted. "They smell good and they make you happy, so I love them"

"You give every boyfriend in the world a bad name, you know that?" You teased him.

"Good" he hummed against your skin. "I waited a long time to be your boyfriend. I have to make up for lost time, right?"

"You know what everyone says?"

"What?"

"That we've been basically married since we met"

Matt laughed. "Mom said that, didn't she?"
