You sat in the in the stands with Andrew Shaw's girlfriend Chaun, and a few other the other players wives. There was something about being with the crowd, that made the games much more fun. Maybe it was the spirit of the crowd and getting to interact with the fans.

You guys cheered as Toews, your boyfriend, skated up the ice with the puck. He got past the defense when Karlsson hit him into the boards. Next thing you see is the trainer running onto the ice to Jon's side. Shaw and Karlsson were fighting but all you could focus on was Jon laying on the ice.

The trainers helped Jon to the locker you, you eyes filled with tears.

"Go to him." Chaun told you as you guys both watched Jon. You nodded and made your way to the locker room. You were lucky to be at the United center because if you were away and you weren't there, you don't know what you would do.

As you walked into the locker room, the trainer was leaving the medical room.

"Be careful he was a huge bruise and a fractured rib. But you can go into him," He said to you. You smiled and thanked him. Rushing into the room, you went to Jon's side.

"Hey," He smiled weakly. He looked like he was in so much pain, it was killing you.

"Hey," You smiled lightly. "How you feeling?"

"Better now that your here." He laughed lightly, he clutched his side and shut his eyes.

"Scoot over." You sat beside him on the non-injured side. Your hand rested on his leg as you guys watched the rest of the game.

The blackhawks ended up loosing in a overtime, Karlsson scoring the winning goal.

Jon was muttering the hole time about the focus of the team being off and how he wished he was on the ice.

Everyone came in to check on Jon after the game, even Chaun and the rest of the wives you hated coming into the locker room.

"Get better soon Tazer." Patrick said, of course being the last of the team to leave us.

You helped Jon get his stuff and walk to his car, you were thankful you didn't drive to this game. Opening the door for him, you helped him into the car.

"I don't need help," He mumbled looking out the window. You could tell he was pissed off about his injury.

"Listen Jon, you were injured and the only way to get better is if you rest and let me help," You gave him a sympathetic look.

"I know," He sighed and gave you a small smile.

That night you drove back to your guys apartment. You helped him inside and laid him on the bed.

"I'll go turn the water on for you." In the bathroom you started the water and went back to help Jon. When he took his shirt off you noticed a huge bruise on his ribs and hip. His face was written with agony as he undressed.

"I'll be right outside if you need me." You left him to shower and went into the bedroom. Changing into a pair of plaid pj bottoms and one of jon's hockey shirts, you heard the water turn off. Bringing some clothes, you noticed Jon in just a towel. You admired his body and he smirked at you. Rolling your eyes, you threw the clothes at him and went to bed.

The bed dipped beside you, "Thank you for helping me out tonight." Jon placed his lips to your cheek.

"I will always be there to help you."
