I'll get back to requests after a bit, but right now I feel the need to post some tributes to the Dallas Stars. They played one hell of a season this year and tonight's game killed me watching it. I don't know who all out there are Stars fans but i hated watching my team lose tonight. So here's  a tribute there season.

You've always hated when series went into game 7, they were stressful. And watching as the Blue's score there 4th game of the night, you were losing hope for the Stars to pull through. As you watched, your thoughts weren't on the game anymore, but you were concerned with how John was going to react after the game. Some times he was angry others he was sad and sometimes he would just be emotionless, after being with him for 2 years, you were pretty good about guessing which mood he would be in. However tonight was a different story, this was the first time the Stars reached the playoffs in years, yet along round 2.

The Blue's put another point on the board, and you sank lower into your seat. You were pissed about how crappy the boys were playing, but you were also sad that there season would be coming to an end tonight.

Somehow the Stars managed to put the puck into the neck, but that didn't do much good. The Blue's scored again and next thing you knew the buzzer was going off. They lost, they were out the playoffs. You waited as the teams shook hands on the ice and the Stars announcer game out and talked. As the arena cleared out, you decided to make your way down to the locker room and wait for John.

When he came out of the locker room he just looked at you, before he started walking to his car. You ran to kept up to him. As you walked next to him, you felt his hand grasp yours, and you smiled to yourself slightly. The two of you walked to his car and drove home in silence. When you pulled into the driveway John turned to look at you.

"Y/N, I'll be in in a minute. Go on in without me." He said.

"John.." You started but stopped yourself. There was no point in arguing with him. You got out of the car and went inside. The first thing you did was change and take off your makeup. Throwing your hair up into a messy bun, you climbed into bed and waited for John to come in.

You started to get concerned when you didn't hear anything for some time, but then you heard the front door slam shut, followed by the sound of breaking glass. You waited to hear if there were any other noises before going to check on John. Just as you reached the door, it swung open. John just looked at you.

"Are you okay?" You asked, slightly hesitant. He didn't say anything and you just looked down. That's when you noticed the blood on his hand. "John you're bleeding." You said rather loudly.

"I know." was all he said.

"Let me take care of it." You said, dragging him into the bathroom. He let you clean off his hand and bandage it up.

"Thank you, Y/N." John said to you.

"Your welcome, John." You gave him a small smile. "I want you to know that you had one hell of a season and I'm so proud of you and the boys. You guys may not have made it this year, but each year you guys are improving, and next year, the cup is going to be all yours." You said.

John stood up, his figure towering over you. He wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead. "Thank you, I needed that. Let me change and then let's go bed." You nodded your head and left the bathroom.

A few minutes later, John came out, wearing only a pair of shorts. He climbed into bed next to you.

"Do you want to talk about it?" You asked, sitting up so you faced him. He pulled you closer so you were basically on his lamp.

"What's there to really say. We played like shit tonight and we lost." He looked down, playing with your fingers.

Leaning over you brought your lips to his, letting them linger for a moment. "It's okay. I'm here if you ever need me." I said.

Slowly he lifted his head up and looked at you . John brushed a loose strand of hair behind your ear and just looked at  you. "Marry me." He said abruptly. You taken back by what he just said. "I don't mean right now and I don't have a ring, plus I was hoping to ask you if we wont the cup this year, but I love you so much Y/N. Please marry me."

"John, I would love you marry you." You said as he leaned in and kissed you passionately. He pulled you closer to him.

Resting his forehead on yours, once you guys broke apart from the kiss, he smiled at you. "You I thing Y/N Klingberg has a nice ring to it."
