(HERE COMES THE BOI-)

"Catnap?" Scarlet whispered into the silent room. She stared down at the other toys in front of her, all of their eyes closed and their breathing relaxed.

Catnap hummed, his tail swishing in the air. "I didn't want to wake you, but I hear something." She said, looking at the many hallways around them. The little room they were in was the cleanest and closest they could find, but not exactly the safest. A small TV was placed near the ceiling in the corner, a common thing that they've been seeing since they left Safe Haven.

Catnap's eyes opened, his ears twitching as he blinked. His left ear caught on a bit of sound, making him lift himself up onto his elbows. Scarlet just watched.

"Y-You're right. Something's h-h-here." He replied in a hushed voice. Scarlet squeaked. The other minis stirred, alerted by the sudden danger surrounding them.

"What is it?"

"I'm...not s-sure." Catnap gently scooped up the little red bear who had yet to wake up since...the situation. "We s-s-should move."

Catnap turned his head to make sure there was nothing that they would want inside the room, as hard footsteps began to echo through the hallways. Catnap blinked, and the minis softly growled. Scarlet looked around wildly, "What is that?"

"I d-don't know..." Catnap whispered, a sudden sense of dread consuming him. Whatever this thing was, it was big, and probably strong too. "Someone's w-watching us."

"Really?" A deep voice said, making the group tense. "Is that right, Theodore?" The feline looked to the source of the noise; up, and completely recoiled at the sight.

The TV was now aglow, with a singular sinister eye staring down at them. It glitched every so often, and the amount of little pixels of colors made Catnap's fur stand on end. It was so bright, yet not.

Whatever- whoever this was, they weren't natural.

"I'll be pleased to let the Prototype know that I killed off his mistake. After he failed to." The eye laughed, a deep rumble that made Scarlet whimper.

"W-What are you t-t-talking about?" Catnap whispered. The room paused, before booming laughter filled the the space. Catnap could only describe it as malicious, evil, maybe.

"Oh! How the mighty have fallen." Then the voice got low and Catnap could hear the smirk in the eye's tone. "The Prototype isn't going to protect you anymore, and now I finally get to experiment with you. I do hope you last longer than most, it would be rather boring otherwise." They chuckled, letting out a gruff breath.

"Yarnaby, come get your dinner." The eye called, before an animalistic screech echoed through the air as the footsteps got quicker.

"Hoppy, that wasn't very nice..." Kickin sighed, staring at the bunny with his sandwich resting on his lap.

The rabbit shook her head, "Someone needs knock some sense into him. I know he's our leader, but that doesn't mean that he makes bad decision, too!"

Poppy blinked, "I believe I'm out of the loop here. Are you saying what I think you're saying?"

Bobby opened her mouth, reading to explain, but Hoppy beat her to it. "Dogday, over there, had a big fat crush on the psycho cat."
