(Just realized that Mrs. Delight has just been sitting in the School House while all this drama happens)

"Alright, everyone. Welcome to our base!" Kickin announced as they reached a door located near the PlayCare's pool area. Well, almost. The hallway was above the pool, and a person- or toy would have to go down a few flights of stairs to get to the swimming area. Angel looked around, sticking close to Dogday.

"It's so close to PlayCare, weren't you afraid that Catnap would find you?" They asked, glancing out a window into the large grassy area. The sight of the broken Catnap statue made them pause, before they continued following with a frown.

"We were, at first. Though, Catnap never came that close to the pool. Don't really know why, but even when he would look up and see us through window, he wouldn't really do anything." Bubba explained, going up to one of the doors at the end of the hallway.

"It was also confusing when he did that, at any point in time when we were outside or directly in PlayCare, he would almost instantly try to kill us. But, when we're in here, it's like we're invisible to him." Hoppy said, leaning against the door's frame as Bubba messed with a key.

"Though, we haven't seen the guy in a month or so." The chicken added in,

"Kickin's right. You mentioned him needing help...?" Bubba said, turning to look at Dogday.

Poppy sighed, "Apparently, he does. Even after everything he's done, there's somehow still people that think there's good in him."

Dogday growled, opening his mouth to defend the feline, but Angel beat him to it.

"You didn't see him. Poppy, he was fucking terrified. Not to mention, he's saved my life at his own expense. So, yeah, both Dogday and I want to help him. Even if something did happen and we can't save him, I'm not going to let him die alone."

It was silent for a bit, everyone just staring at Angel. Poppy huffed, "You're supposed to be on our side."

"I'm on the side of not wanting to see anyone get hurt anymore." Angel retorted.

"Okay...uh, Bubba, door?" Kickin said, hitting the wood. Bubba shook his head, handing Kickin the key.

Kickin unlocked it, grinning. He pushed open the door, stopping to stand in the doorway. "Guess what, everyone! We're back and we brought some guest!"

Bobby's voice replied, "Oh! I'm so glad you're back, Kickin. Who's your guests?" Bobby's body came into the canine's view, making Dogday slightly flinch at the sight of her injuries. Everyone's so hurt... Dogday thought, his tail in between his legs.

Then, Bobby's gaze fell onto him. "Oh my god...Dogday?"

——

"A-Are you r-r-ready?" Catnap said, standing on his two feet. While it hurt like hell to do so, he didn't have many other options. All he could hope for was that he wouldn't fall when he started to run.

"I think...you?" Scarlet whispered back, stilling in a crouched position. Catnap nodded, peeking his head out of the door. The room just outside of his cell was completely made of rock and metal, but the important part was that the guards were gone.
