(My mind suddenly went blank when thinking about what to write here...)
Dogday looked around at the people around him as he sat on a large box. Catbee, who Dogday couldn't even fathom how she was still alive, sat next to him with a Catnap plush in her paws. Luckily, this one didn't seem to be alive.
Unlike the two other plushies across the room, who were...playing together? Dogday wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but Tornado—a mini Crafty that Bobby and Bubba had found—was spinning in circles like a mad-mini while Bomb just stared at her.
Meanwhile, Poppy, Kissy, and Angel were speaking to one another. About what, Dogday didn't really care. Bobby was talking with Crafty, holding onto the unicorn's hoof affectionately. Hoppy was sitting across from them, occasionally joining in on the conversation.
Kickin and Picky were...cooking. Though, it was mostly Picky yelling at Kickin when the bird tried to sneak a bit of the peanut butter that Picky was using to make sandwiches. Dogday was still surprised they even had any.
Then, Bubba just sat in the corner of the room, reading a book. Holding one side with his remaining hoof and holding up the other side with his opposite knee.
It was all so...normal. Though, Dogday couldn't really grasp the word, he wasn't even sure if it was the right one. Did he even know what normal meant anymore?
A paw tabbed him on the shoulder, making the dog flinch before he turned his head towards the striped cat.
"Hey, Bee..." He laughed, his legs swinging back and forth. She smiled, waving a hand and holding up her Catnap plush with a tilt of her head.
Dogday tilted his own head, his brows furrowing in confusion as he looked at the plush. He couldn't lie and say that the little thing wasn't cute. Though what the feline in front of him was trying to say was less straight forward.
"Uhhh, do you want me to take it?"
Bee shook her head, looking at him in a funny way. She pointed at the toy, then tilted her head.
"Is this something to do with Catnap..."
Bee nodded, a smile on her face.
"Oh, what about him?"
The smile was gone. She swung the plush, lightly hitting Dogday in the head. The canine blinked at her, a little stunned. "What was that for?"
Catbee shook her head, before gesturing to the area around her. She mouthed something too, but Dogday was never that good at lipreading. He rubbed the back of his neck with a paw, "I'm sorry, Bee, I don't understand. Your trying to tell-" Bee shook her head. "-ask me something about Catnap?" Bee nodded.
Dogday put a finger to his chin, looking at the floor like it had all the answers. Bee tapped him on the shoulder again to get his attention, then gestured at the room around her once more.
Dogday scrunched his face in confusion, "Are you trying to ask me if Catnap's in this room...?" Bee just stared at him like a disappointed mother.
"I was joking!" He laughed, putting up his paws in surrender. Bee didn't seem convinced. Dogday coughed awkwardly, looking off to the side. "Your asking...where he is?" Bee smiled, nodding vigorously.
