Scarlet sat there, surrounding by the little minis all tripping over one another as they squeaked their heads off. She hugged the little red bear tighter, while also making sure she didn't squish the poor thing.
What was she doing?
Staring at the wall blankly, that's what. Having no idea what she could do next, what she should do next. This was all hell. Like Doey had said, like what everyone had told her. Helping Catnap was a good idea, she couldn't let Catnap suffer like that. Though...was running away with him the best plan?
She sighed, closing her eyes and making an effort to breathe. In and out. That's all it took. She just had to keep going.
She wanted to get up, really, but her legs wouldn't move. She wanted to run after Catnap, but she'd be mauled to death by that thing. She gasped softly, what if that TV guy came back? The...what had Doey called him? Dr. Sawyer?
She looked around, but no TV (or much of anything) was around. Unfortunately, it didn't stop the cold fear that had completely trapped her heart. What was this feeling?
She wasn't new to fear. Fear was normal for everyone, especially for the smaller toys like herself. Yet, this was different. It made her heart clench, like a fist was squeezing it. Doey's look of pure hatred suddenly made its way into her head, and she wanted curled in on herself.
Doey...
Doey..! Doey could help, right? He always protected them before and- that was a stupid plan. Catnap and Doey seemed to have a very complicated relationship with each other, and he wouldn't help Scarlet. She was working with the cat!
She groaned pitifully. What was she going to do?

Hoppy grumbled to herself, sitting against the wall angrily as the others spoke with one another. Bomb was next to her, seemingly just as irritated.
"We have to go get them!" Crafty squeaked meekly, holding onto Picky's arm.
"I agree. Bobby, Dogday, and what's-there-name are out there. It can be dangerous." Picky said, gesturing to Crafty as she spoke.
"Catnap's gone, though. What's really left for us to worry about?" Kickin asked, sitting next to Bee. Bee just looked around at everyone cautiously, as she clung onto her plushie protectively.
"If the Prototype's other followers catch wind of Catnap being out of the picture, they might come here. Especially those down in the lower levels. If they can get here, that is." Bubba stated, putting a hoof to his chin.
"Playtime's hell." Poppy muttered, shaking her head. Her mind drifted to the toys down there, the ones she'd had promised to come back for, but she immediately pushed it away. Doey could handle whatever happened down there, her job was right here.
"Yes. Playtime's hell. I, for one, think that we should to after them. Not just because of the potential danger, but because of the plain fact that we need to have a discussion about this. Especially with Dogday." Bubba finished, looking around at the other individuals in the room.
There were murmurs of agreement from everyone, excluding Hoppy and Bee.
"Yes. I would like to have a conversation with Dogday. Even if someone must hold him down for that to happen." Everyone turned to stare at Poppy. "In my defense, that dog barely listens. Everyone has been telling him that Catnap is bad news, yet he seems to be deaf to that information."
"Dude!" Kickin suddenly exclaimed. "What if Catnap brainwashed him or something? So that Dogday was still on his side and everything?"
"Kickin, that's preposterous." Bubba deadpanned.
"If he tortured Dogday enough, maybe not." Poppy voiced, watching as the others in the room have mixed reactions.
Picky, for one, scowled at her. "You think come in here and say things like that?"
"I'm trying to help."
"No. You're trying to get us to follow you! I've never met you before this and o can even tell!"
Kissy stirred, looking at the smaller critters with curiosity. Each one was filled with emotions she couldn't process or even begin to fathom. There was so much anger and discord.
"Listen, we need to go look for them." Picky said, narrowing her eyes at the group.
"Dogday needs to cool, Picky. After that they'll most likely come back." Bubba
"Picky, why are so obsessed with this?" Hoppy cut in, standing up from her spot. Picky scrunched her nose at her, standing a little taller.
"Dogday threw a sandwich at you! He lost his temper! Has anyone ever even heard of Dogday even doing that?!"
"I have." Kickin grumbled, everyone stared at him. "I was getting all over Catnap, and Dogday saw this and then he basically told me to fuck off. Of course, he didn't say that specifically or anything, but I could tell how pissed he was. I didn't ever get all in Catnap's face again, even if it was kind of an accident the first time."

Miss Delight wandered through the halls, her stomach screaming at her. Barb, her only friend, was the thing that kept her bashing her own head in. Catnap was supposed to have given her food already, she knew it. He normally made weekly visitas, yet now it was as if the cat had vanished. Possibly, the Prototype decided to give up on her.
Miss Delight scoffed. Of course, that hunk of junk had abandoned her after he ordered Catnap to imprison her (and her sisters) in the first place. How on brand that was for the Prototype. She was trapped in this damn school and she could see that from here. The Prototype thought everyone to be expendable.
Then, it struck her. What if Catnap became expendable? She almost laughed. That brat was that thing's favorite, he could never get rid of Catnap.
Could he?
If he had, then Miss Delight's food source was cut off. While her body, just as others toy's bodies, were able to survive without food for a bit longer than a human, it wouldn't last forever. Her hand raised to her face. Perhaps, her own eye could be useful.
No. She would mange.
She looked down to her friend, bringing it closer to her face. "Barb, what should I do?" She asked, waiting for the response that was sure to come. She was not disappointed.
"The fire escape?"
(Wanted to do a chapter with characters that currently are out of the main focus. I especially I had a lot of fun with Miss Delights part! Sorry for the short chapter.)
