Hikaru made a trip down to the river again and when he did, he realized that off to the side there was an orchid with a lot of different fruit trees. He wasn't completely sure if they even needed to eat while they were in this space but at least it was good to have the choice if they wished or needed. Putting his hands in the water of the river he splashed his face, hoping that it would make him feel better. Of course, it didn't but he had to try.
"It must be pretty hard, having your life shown like this" Hikaru turned to see that Rengoku had also come down near the river and was biting into an apple that he had picked.
"It doesn't matter, if it can help us save people it's fine" Hikaru smiled and Rengoku couldn't help but think of how strong the boy was. Everyone was well aware that Hikaru wanted to be anywhere else then reliving his past moments, the moments in which he suffered, but instead of complaining he just put a smile on and continued forward.
"Saving lives is indeed important but you should you feel something gets too much you are more than welcome to leave it to your seniors" Rengoku said with his own smile that made Hikaru blink his eyes twice as much as his aura brightened.
"Okay" Hikaru agreed, they were determined to see this threw no matter what it showed. With that they headed back to the main area.

"So does anyone have any ideas on why we are watching this instead of that person simply showing us how to defeat Muzan?" Ubuyashiki asked.
"To waste our time" Sanami was the first to reply.
"Perhaps its showing this because we will flashily defeat Muzan not long after these two finish their training?" Uzui suggested while pointing to Hikaru and Tanjiro.
"It has to have something to do with Hikaru" Shinobu said, disregarding Tanjiro altogether.
"If I had to guess I would.... I would" Kanroji tried but she couldn't come up with anything making her cover her face and Obanai tried to reassure her that it was fine while glaring at everyone but Ubuyashiki, blaming them for Kanroji's distress.
"There is a lot of reasons, but I don't believe that we have watched enough to be able understand them yet" Himejima said while saying a prayer at the end.
"It's not just about me" Hikaru spoke up and they turned to me.
"These questions have been on my mind for a while but Tamayo, does Muzan need to eat humans like a normal demon?" He asked.
"No, he only needs a small amount of blood like Yushiro and I, though that doesn't stop him from eating when he desires it" Tamayo answered.
"And when he finds someone or something to be a threat to himself, would he expose himself to get rid of it?" Hikaru asked another question.
"Normally he would send one of the twelve kizuki" She replied.
"Then why did he expose himself to kill the Kamado family? None of them looked to have been... He didn't kill them for food. And he also turned Nezuko into a demon instead of killing her. Why?" Hikaru questioned, he had paled when he was talking and had to stop to take a breath. Tanjiro wasn't looking any better and was simply holding Nezuko tight.
"He would not have normally killed the Kamado family himself, instead he would have sent one of the upper moons, perhaps there is something about the Kamado bloodline, much like Hikaru's blood line" Ubuyashiki said.
"Hopefully we will get some answers from this thing" Giyuu said as he looked at the stone slab, they only had another two minutes left.
"We don't have enough to go on yet" Genya said, more to himself than anything else.
"All we can do is wait until this thing shows us more" Kanao said after flipping her coin, her normal smile on her face.
"Shall we get comfortable once again then? The timer has almost run out" Shinobu pointed out and they took a seat in the spots that they had been sitting in before and turned to the stone slab. None of them would say it but they were hoping that more information about Muzan would be revealed but since Tanjiro and Hikaru had just started their training, they didn't hold their breath.

I heard talking around me as I cracked my eyes open and tried to sit up only for a gently hand to be placed on my shoulder stopping me from moving too much.
"Your awake Hikaru" said a voice and I looked to see Tanjiro looking at me with an aura of gratefulness making me push his hand off my shoulder as I sat up hissing as the stitches on my chest pulled.
"Giyu did not inform me that you have been injured this much" Urokodaki said, and I saw that he was stirring a pot of what I guessed was a stew.
