Since they were once more on a break they split up to talk about what they had just seen and how important it would be for the future.

"So you really do that beautiful every half a year?" Kanroji questioned.

"Yeah, as you saw it can take a bit to set up but I like doing it" Hikaru smiled. It had helped him feel closer to the family he had lost and also those that he had never met.

"What I want to know is why you bother?" Obanai scoffed as he glared at Hikaru.

"Obanai, that's a little mean" Kanroji protested making Obanai look away but he didn't take his words back.

"It's fine. I can understand why he is asking like that, after all a lot of people are probably wondering why I continue to do a family tradition that will end with me," Hikaru shrugged. "The truth is that other than the feeling of dread I feel when I think of not doing the dance, it also makes me remember that I did have a family once."

Obanai was about to say something but stopped himself when he remembered that not all families were like his. Hikaru had loving parents even though they were gone they had still existed at one point.

"What do you mean by a feeling of dread?" Kanroji tilted her head as she asked.

'So cute' Obanai thought, glad that his bandages hid his blush.

"I'm not exactly superstitious so normally I wouldn't bother with weird feelings like that but if I can make that feeling disappear by performing the dance then it's easy to do. Plus the importance that my parents placed in performing the dance also makes me think that I should continue to do the dance no matter what happens."

"I see, I see" Kanroji nodded before they started to talk about something else.

"Akaza-san. I'd like to ask you a few questions" Tanjiro had finally worked up the courage to talk to the older demon. Sure he could have talked to Yushiro (who was busy watching Tamayo and would probably kill Tanjiro for interrupting) or Tamayo (who was talking to Shinobu about different medicines) but he decided that talking to Akaza might be better. Hikaru was doing his best to try to make Akaza feel like he was being included so he decided he should do his best as well.

"What makes you think that I would answer any of your questions?" Akaza huffed.

"I don't know if you will or not but I won't know if I don't ask," Tanjiro said.

"Tch, you're not going to leave me alone are you?" Akaza asked, his eyes narrowed.

"Nope," Tanjiro's smile was big as he said this, making Akaza sigh. The only way to get this guy away from him was to listen to his questions. While Akaza recognised the potential of strength within Tanjiro he wasn't fully sold on it yet but there was one thing that he had realized. He was stubborn and could wait out anyone's patience.

"Ask away, but don't think that I'll answer," Akaza warned.

"Okay, how long does a demon's regeneration usually take? Also, does blood loss affect demons or not?"

Akaza's eyes narrowed. How naive was this brat? Did he think that Akaza would just tell him how best to defeat a demon? Opening his mouth about to give him a scathing response he was stopped when Nezuko walked over and jumped onto Tanjiro's back. Tanjiro quickly caught her legs to stop her from falling and smiled at her over his shoulder. That's when Akaza realized why he was asking those questions.

"I can't really speak about normal demons regeneration since my regeneration is almost instant, with only a few seconds for bigger wounds. Your sister's regeneration on the other hand I don't have any idea about, you're better off asking Tamayo about it," Akaza was probably going to be punished by HIM for revealing information like that but it wasn't like he wasn't already probably going to get punished. "As for blood loss, it doesn't affect us in the way you think. If we lose too much blood we get pushed into a blood frenzy, meaning we'll attack anything and everything around us to eat."
