As soon as the timer appeared Hikaru got up and walked swiftly away making those watching sigh as he didn't even look back.
"Should one of us go speak to him?" Kanroji asked.
"That will probably make it worse," Tanjiro said.
"I hope that we are able to help him so that he doesn't feel upset anymore," Rengoku admitted, Hikaru had been helping and he wanted to return the favor.
"Can you blame him?" Akaza scoffed with an eye roll. It seems that these humans are stupid enough to not realize what they had done wrong.
"What do you mean?" Uzui asked.
"The amount of lectures you have been giving Hikaru it's a miracle that he didn't get upset before now. If he does something you don't like, you lecture him, if he thinks something you don't like, you lecture him, if he gets hurt, you lecture him, if he makes a decision you don't like, you lecture him. Yet if someone else in these scenes does or thinks the same thing, they don't get nearly as much of a lecture as he does," Akaza explained.
"We don...." Shinobu started but then she stopped when she realized that what Akaza said was right. The last scene was a good example as Uzui had said he put everyone before himself and if Hikaru had said that he would have gotten a lecture about caring for himself.
"You do," Yushiro rolled his eyes.
"We didn't mean to," Kanroji looked like she would cry.
"Whether you meant it or not, it's what happened," Akaza said.
"You are right, for now though we should let Hikaru calm down," Ubuyashiki said and they nodded in agreement. None of them wanted to leave him alone but they also didn't want to upset Hikaru more than he already was.
"In that case, perhaps we should get started on those health check ups," Shinobu smiled and everyone shivered but agreed. Well most of them, Giyuu turned and left, there was no way that he was having a health check unless he actually needed it. It seemed he wasn't the only one thinking about this as Obanai, Sanemi and Genya all suddenly disappeared as well. When Sanemi found himself in the same clearing as Giyuu, instead of starting a fight with him they simply nodded at each other and continued to hide.

Hikaru sighed as he sat next to the river and looked out at the statues, the statues that were in the shape of his ancestors. He couldn't believe really that all of this was in his mind but at the same time it did feel nice to know that they were watching over him, waiting for him to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan so that they could rest peacefully.
"Hikaru, do you mind if I take a seat?" A soothing voice called out and he turned to see Ubuyashiki standing there.
"I don't mind," Hikaru said and Ubuyashiki moved and sat next to him, looking out towards the statues as well.
"I am sure that you don't want to speak about what happened and I won't ask you to, I simply wish to apologize," Ubuyashiki apologized.
"You don't have anything to apologize for, if anything I should apologize for how I acted," Hikaru blew out a breath. He really had overreacted and he should have handled the situation better.
"You have nothing to apologize for, it is understandable why you reacted the way that you did and no one is holding that against you. Instead I think that they are all feeling a little guilty now that we have realized what it is that we have been doing," Ubuyashiki explained. Hikaru opened his mouth as if he was about to do something but Ubuyashiki raised his hand and put a stop to whatever he was about to say. "I know that you are probably going to insist that there is nothing for us to apologize for but you would be wrong. We have been scolding you for things that we should have just explained made us worry for you and yet we don't do the same for the others here."
