"I am glad that you are thinking of taking Hikaru's offer of help," Himejima admitted as he stayed seated next to Ubuyashiki. Everyone else had split up into different groups. Rengoku, Kanroji, Giyuu and Uzui had gathered around Tamayo and Yushiro, learning about different injuries and how to treat them. Obanai, Sanemi and Muichirou on the other hand were gathered about Shinobu and were getting the same lesson. They had split up for two reasons, one that it would be easier to learn in smaller groups and secondly because a few of the Hashira's wouldn't listen to Tamayo simply because she was a demon.

"Yes, though I am not sure if he will actually be able to cure me but at least I might be able to hold on longer" Ubuyashiki smiled. He was really happy that he wouldn't have to hand down the burden of the demon slayer corps to his son just yet.

"I am sure that you'll be able to hold out long enough for us to defeat Kibutsuji and then you won't have to worry about your curse anymore" Himejima smiled. "Do you think that we should be worried about what is happening over there?"

Tanjiro, Nezuko, Hikaru, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao and Genya had gathered over to the side along with Akaza. They were training once again to learn how to do total concentration breathing constant. Inosuke had taunted Genya enough that they started to spar. Nezuko was fighting against Kanao after Tanjiro asked her to teach Nezuko how to fight, after all Nezuko had only been fighting on instinct since everything started. Zenitsu was whining and crying while Tanjiro and him sparred but Tanjiro wasn't about to let him run away from training, after all they needed to get stronger so that they wouldn't hold Rengoku back in the future. Hikaru on the other hand had managed to get Akaza to spar against him.

"I think that it will be fine. I don't know much about fighting since I can't fight myself but I think that Akaza is holding back quite a bit and is actually teaching Hikaru," Ubuyashiki said. Hikaru had just taken a fist to the stomach but he was quick to jump back away from Akaza before moving forward to unleash his own punch towards Akaza.

"If you are trying to attack like that then you are pathetic and need a lot more training. Attacking straight on won't get you very far," Akaza scoffed as he dodged Hikaru's punch and went to attack again. The only problem is that he didn't expect Hikaru to place his hands on the ground and kick out with his feet.

"Just because I go in for a punch doesn't mean that is the only attack I have planned," Hikaru grinned. He knew that if Akaza wasn't holding back he would be dead already but he needed to get stronger so he was thankful that Akaza was doing this for him.

"I believe that you are correct, I do not know what the demon wishes to do or even why he would agree to do this for them but it doesn't seem that he means any harm to them," Himejima said.

"Then for now, let's leave them be, I am sure that they will be able to learn a lot from him," Ubuyashiki decided. For the rest of the time they watched as the Hashira's learnt about medicine and the younger slayers trained some more, all of them hoping that they would be able to change the future that they had seen.

"It seems that the scenes are about to begin again" Himejima called out, getting everyone's attention. Or almost everyone's attention. Hikaru and Akaza were still trading hits back and forth, Akaza with a large smirk on his face while Hikaru's gleamed like they only did when he was fighting.

"Should we interrupt?" Tanjiro wondered.

"Best to just wait, after all if we distract either one, they could get hurt. Well Hikaru could get hurt," Giyuu said. It was only a few moments later that Akaza's foot landed on Hikaru's stomach and sent him flying backwards, straight into the river.

"Hikaru?!" They all yelled out.

"Don't worry, he can swim," Tanjiro assured them.

'That's not what we are worried about!'
