Chapter 44: Here comes Muichiro

A lot of people could no longer look Kanroji in the eye and Kanroji herself was flustered and trying to figure out what she would do now that everyone had seen her like that. No one had separated yet, not sure exactly how they should react to this at all. Other than wanting to apologize to Kanroji for having seen her like that even though they hadn't meant to.

"Does it really matter if we saw her like that or not?" Inosuke huffed with crossed arms, so what if the woman had no clothes, that was how he grew up after all, until that nice old man explained clothes and told him he had to at least wear pants. And his boar mask of course but that was more preference than need.

"Well, she is a woman so seeing her naked is something that should only happen with her husband as well as if she chooses and Kanroji didn't get a choice in this," Tanjiro tried to explain.

"So? All of us are human so what's the big deal about it?" Inosuke scoffed.

"It's called being polite and having manners," Akaza snarled as he glared at Inosuke. The only reason he wasn't attacking or anything was because, 1 he wasn't able to and 2 while Inosuke was coming off as cold and impolite Akaza realized that he was actually curious. It was like he really didn't understand that girls and boys were different, and they shouldn't be showing off their bodies to each other.

"Okay that's enough," Hikaru intervened having enough of this, especially with how much redder Kanroji was getting, her aura was fit to burst. "Let's just ignore what we saw and move on, it's obvious that a lot of us are uncomfortable with what was shown but we shouldn't keep talking about it like this, especially when it could make people even more uncomfortable."

When everyone glanced at Kanroji, they realized what he was getting at, they hadn't even thought about how Kanroji would feel if they continued to discuss this topic.

"I believe that we should respect Mitsuri's privacy and stay silent on this matter, just as we would if it had been anyone else," Ubuyashiki agree and with that the matter was put to rest. They all split up then, some of them deciding to continue to train, others deciding that they just wanted to stretch their legs and walk around. Slowly they all trickled away with only Hikaru, Genya, Sanemi and Akaza staying where they were. Akaza didn't want to bother walking around and Nezuko was training with Tanjiro at the moment so he wouldn't be training her either, so she decided to simply close his eyes and rest for a while. There was no way that Sanemi was going to leave a demon near Hikaru and Genya without him being there so he acted all nonchalant, leaning on a tree and watching over them as if they couldn't see him. Hikaru didn't feel like moving and instead simply stretched his legs out and tested his abilities and make some pillows appear and used them to prop himself up while he laid slightly now. Genya kept on glancing at Hikaru before glancing away. It happened again and again, and it was obvious that he had something to ask but was either too scared (highly unlikely) or too shy (very likely) to ask.

"I don't bite you know," Hikaru finally spoke up when the tension got unbearable. "Well, I mean unless you want me to."

Genya blushed bright red at the smirk that Hikaru sent him since he had taken his mask off when he had lounged on his new pillows.

"Shut up! Who would want that!" Genya snapped and Hikaru just continued to grin. Ahh, Sanemi and Genya were defiantly brothers and both of them were so fun to tease. Sanemi's sharp eyes dug into Hikaru who rolled his eyes a little. Over protectiveness while acting as if he hated his brother, serious how could anyone think that Sanemi hated his brother. Then again maybe Hikaru only knew because he had known Sanemi so long and he could see his aura.
