Hikaru sat down and listened as people spoke over each other to try and scold him but instead all they were doing was making a lot of noise.

"Of all the stupid things to do-" Sanemi scowled.

"You saw what happened to Rengoku against upper moon three-" Kanroji was nearly crying.

"I told you to leave this to me-" Uzui didn't like that Hikaru wasn't listening.

"You are being really reckless," Shinobu sighed. Kabamaru was hissing because of Obanai's anger but the snake hashira was simply glaring at Hikaru and not saying anything. Giyuu wanted to demand them to back off and stop attacking Hikaru with their words but he couldn't get the words out and instead had put distance between himself and all of the others. The younger slayers also wanted to scold Hikaru but decided that they would wait until the Hashira's stopped but Genya looked like he was about to explode. He really wanted to say something but they weren't giving him the chance. Ubuyashiki sighed before looking at Himejima with a request in his eyes. Pulling his hands back from each other, his beads still wrapped around them before he brought them back together in a booming clap. Instantly everyone went silent and looked towards Himejima.

"Yelling over each other will accomplish nothing, if we wish to discuss what has just been shown then we should do it in a civil way," Himejima said.

"Exactly," Rengoku nodded, he was one of the few that hadn't been yelling and scolding Hikaru.

"I don't see why you are so against Hikaru fighting against Daki," Akaza rolled his eyes. Couldn't they just accept it so that they could keep watching and see what was bound to be an amazing fight.

"You shut up! We don't need your opinion on this," Sanemi snarled.

"A-Actually I think I understand," Genya finally spoke up like he wanted to and ducked his head when his brother turned his glare to him.

"Can you explain more?" Ubuyashiki requested, taking the wind out of Sanemi's sails.

"Well we are all seeing this as a bad thing, but Hikaru deciding to fight against the demon by himself might be for the best thing," Genya started. "We've all noticed that when Hikaru fights with others around he holds himself back and fights on the defensive but if he fights by himself he is a lot stronger because he is focusing on attacking."

All of them realized that what Genya said was correct, if Hikaru took the rest of them then there was a chance that he would force himself to be defensive again.

"Hikaru, we're training together this break," Tanjiro declared. He got looks thrown towards him, after all they hadn't finished talking about Hikaru's decision to fight Daki by himself.

"Okay, I don't mind but why have you decided this all of a sudden?" Hikaru questioned as he got up as well.

"We're going to train as a pair so that I am defensive and you are attacking. The others can pair up and fight against us that way you won't think that you need to keep fighting on the defensive," Tanjiro declared.

"Ah, okay," Hikaru decided it would simply be easier to agree than to fight it. With that Hikaru, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Genya and Kanao went to the side to start fighting against each other.

"I don't get why he is always on the defensive. It is obvious that he is the strongest of them," Muichirou scoffed. At least he thought that it was obvious to realize.

"He is stronger than they are but it might be a habit that he is working defensively," Giyuu said. They looked at him, waiting for him to continue but he didn't say anything else. Shinobu gained a tick mark but held herself back from commenting about people not liking Giyuu, after all Ubayshiki had asked them to refrain from making such comments. Uzui on the other hand made eye contact with Giyuu and raised an eyebrow, silently asking if he had gone non-verbal and got a shake of the head in return.
