EPILOGUE

EZIKIEL JAMES POV

I grew up as a lonely person. Indifferent to those around me, living in a dark world where no one seemed to understand me.

But everything changed because of the woman who transformed my life.

From the moment I saw her, I knew she was different from the women I knew who only wanted my wealth; I could feel her nervousness.

"Your name?" Malamig na tanong ko sa kanya.

"Im Angel Louisa Ness De la Cruz," she said in her fullname, kaya napalingon ako sa kanya at nakita  ang pagngiti nito na kahit  kailan ay hindi ko pa nagawa sa boung buhay ko and that time ay gusto ko na siya.

"Where are you from?" Despite my efforts to remain calm, I hated this girl at that time because she always smiled when I asked her questions. And what infuriates me more now is her response to my questions.

"Ahhmm sa langit ayyy este saan ba yon?" See, weirdo siyang babae kaya nga nagkakaroon ako ng interes sa kanya, so I hired it become my secretary.

"Ok your hired! But make sure you stay away from me. I have law! if you don't follow my rules your be fired as soon as possible. Did you understand Miss De la Cruz? wanting don't smiling in my company, I really hate it!! If you obeyed my rules say good bye to your work as my secretary."

"Wait lang boss hired na ako! Dahan dahanin mo kasi kakaenglish mo manonosebleed ako sayo, ano bayan!"

In a few days of being with her, I found myself getting closer to her. I didn't realize that I could let down the mask I always wear, because of her even at any given time. She's a weirdo who, even if you're the one she's talking to, will just scratch your back.

I remember na pinagtimpla niya ako ng coffee and you know kung ano ang  binigay niya saakin, Isang kape na nilagyan ng asin so pinainom ko iyon sa kanya at binaguhan ba naman ako ng kape mula sa bibig nito.

And that time I accidentally yelled at her, I felt guilty for what I had done to her, so I went to her office and I was shocked because the office was really clean. I saw her asleep at her desk so I walked slowly to avoid making any noise.

It was the first time I saw her up close, and her innocent face looked really beautiful, like an angel. I liked her very much, so I decided to knock on the table to wake her up, pretending to be angry at her, because I knew she wasn't right for me.

"Are you done sleeping? if your done you can go! And continue your sleep in the house not my company, secretary!"

Malamig na tanong ko sa kanya.

"Sorry boss." she said sorry for me.

So, like a fool, I spoke harshly to her again, and I felt really guilty that time. I glared at her, but I didn't see any fear in her eyes. She's really different from the women I've met before.

I stopped staring at her angrily when someone knocked on the door, and it was a delivery boy. I was curious about what was sent to me in a box.

Aktong bubuksan ko sana ng pigilan ako ng aking secretary and she said that I never forget.

"Isang pulbura kapag bubuksan mo yan ay sasabog ito kaya maari kang mabulag kapag tumama sa mata mo ang pulbura."

I didn't know if  she was saying was true, so I didn't listen and I  was about to open it myself when she took it from me and threw it outside her office.
