i laid next to my new best friend but i'd be lying if i said i slept well.
i mean ive known this girl for what, eight hours? and her boyfriend already pushed me to the ground, slapped lila in front of me, and made her bleed. i've seen lila's cuts, she's puked out my car, and now she's laying in my bed.
i want to save this girl.
that's my goal.
i will save lila. i'll get her away from her stupid boyfriend and make her safe again.
i open my phone and go on instagram, searching for lila. once i find her, i follow it and look in her following for cash. it doesn't take long to find him. nothing on his page shows he has a girl, which kinda pisses me off.
i scroll through his posts and it's literally just him holding guns with his gang or wtv.

i look over at her peacefully sleeping and move her hair to see the mark that cash gave her poor face.
i hear someone coming up the stairs. wtf?? it's literally 2 am.
then i see my boyfriend jesse come in.
"who's this?" he asks, irritated.
"my friend." i say back.
"why are you sleeping together?"
"she asked me to."

"god do you have to question everything? is this an interrogation?"
he scoffs.
"just didn't know my girlfriend was a dyke."

"get out." i say.
"oh you're not denying it now?"
"jesse i don't know where you've been but you're so obviously drunk. i'm sleeping with her because her BOYFRIEND just beat her and she's scared. go to bed or something."
he walks out angrily. i've never really been fond of drunk jesse. honestly jesse in general. he's overprotective, irritable, and just mean.
