Rohaan
"Yamna!"
With Yamna Yasin as my wife, I was going to be constantly on edge, even when I wasn't at work.
"Hamster, where are you?" I went to my room, but she wasn't there.
I finally found her in Behaya's room.
It seemed the shelf that contained my sister's cricket trophies had collapsed, sending her trophies crashing onto the ground. By Yamna's feet was the smashed remains of Behaya's favourite glass trophy, the one that she had one in a county competition, and one that my sister had been extremely proud of.
"I...I was just having a look. I held onto the shelf to reach for the glass trophy and it..." Yamna was in tears.
"S**t. This was Haya's favourite." I muttered, crouching down.
"I'm s-s-so sorry."
"You should be careful, Yamna. How am I going to explain this to Haya?" I had to admit, I sounded a little irritated even to my own ears. I guess I was a little too protective of my siblings' things as well.
"I'll confess." She said, quietly.
"I'm going to get this cleaned up. You hurt?" I glanced towards her feet to make sure she hadn't been harmed by shards of the glass.
"I broke it. I'll clean it up."
"No, it's fine. I need to fix that shelf again anyway."
Yamna left the room, and I felt bad for basically snapping at her.
I cleaned up and fixed the shelf, realising suddenly how quiet it was. "Hamster?" I glanced over my shoulder.

Yamna
I closed the door behind me in the en-suite bathroom adjoining Rohaan's bedroom. Opening my palm, I saw the blood from the shard of glass that had pierced my skin as I had attempted to clean up the broken mess.
I had nobody to blame but myself. I should apply a museum rule wherever I go: 'look, don't touch'. Now I had managed to break Haya Appi's favourite trophy.
Turning on the cold water at the tap, I sobbed silently as I washed away the blood. I felt so guilty that I couldn't stop crying.
Papa often joked that I'd inherited his clumsiness. He said that he was still very clumsy.
Once I had washed away the blood, and made sure that there were no blood stains remaining in the sink, I headed downstairs as I remembered that Anabia Tayi kept a first aid kit in the downstairs bathroom. I managed to find only a large plaster, and stuck it onto my palm.
I then went into the living room and sat on the sofa, reading a book. It was best for me to sit here and not go anywhere near breakable objects. But my guilt wouldn't let me read, and I ended up messaging Haya Appi.
<Yamna: Haya Appi, I'm so sorry but I broke your glass cricket trophy while trying to look at it.>
I hoped that she wouldn't be angry. I could sense that Rohaan was angry. I messed with a favourite item of his sibling, after all. And not just any sibling, but Haya Appi, his best friend.
<Haya Appi: Aww, that's okay, Yum-Yum. You didn't get hurt, did you?>
<Yamna: I'm fine.>
<Yamna: Are you angry? I didn't mean to break it. It was an accident.>
