Sorry for the delay guys. It wasn't because you guys didn't meet a challenge, but because I had a long, tiring week at work and honestly couldn't be bothered to write. 🙈Sorry, once again.

Rohaan

I had wronged her, and she still made the effort to make things right.

I didn't consider myself deserving of her, but she didn't give up fighting for our relationship.

She was too good for me, but she loved me. I couldn't let her down again. I had to be the best version of myself for her.

I need to put in effort now. Enough was more than enough.

I drove over to my grandparents' house in the middle of the night for Yamna. It was the least that I could do for her.

She'd asked me to come to her, and that was exactly what I was doing.

But I completely disregarded one thing: the people who had shot at Yamna were still out there.

"You're always concerned about the safety of others, but never about yourself." Mama often told me off.

And today was an evidence of that.

Realising that my car was almost out of petrol, I stopped at a petrol station to refill. As I was returning to the car after making the payment inside, I noticed something. A black SUV with tinted windows was parked just close to the entrance of the petrol station. It was nowhere near the actual petrol pumps, or near any charging point of electric cars, or even where a tyre inflation pump. It was just parked there.

My instincts were on high alert all of a sudden, but I remained nonchalant as I walked back to my car and got inside. "There's no damn way I can go to Dado's house now, if I'm really being followed." I muttered to myself between gritted teeth.

I drove down the ramp that led out of the petrol pump and onto the road, and I saw the SUV start to move as well.

I sped away, but it saw it follow me. At this time of the night, the roads were quieter. I turned into a quiet residential street. This street led to a maze of other residential streets, and it would prove to me that the SUV was following me. I was very familiar with this area. I had taken my driving lessons around here.

Fear was not in my blood, not when it came to crimes or criminals, not when it came to my own safety. I'd rather face a situation head-on, then to cower away. Maybe it was stupid, maybe it was courageous, I don't care. But if I was being followed, I was not going to stop until I trapped this person in their own game. "Hey, Siri. Call work."
