Previous chapter: Arsal called Rohaan during a panic attack, not knowing where he was, even though he had been parked right outside his place in Manchester.

He is miserable at his new job, but he is determined to prove himself. He has been losing weight, unable to sleep properly, and his appetite has been impacted. His mental health has been significantly impacted by his work pressure, and his determination to achieve success.

Rohaan

Haya and I drove in silence in the middle of the night, on the way to Manchester to see Arsal. He was clearly suffering and he needed our help.

"Arsal always bottles thing up, and then he's like a volcano when it all becomes too much to bear." Haya broke the silence. "He needs to learn to express himself, to talk about it. Tahira is so good, so understanding. He should talk to her."

"Not everyone feels comfortable opening up about how they feel, Haya. I think that's one thing that he and I have in common. The difference is that I express through rage."

"I just hope that we can reach in time to help him. In Sha Allah." She whispered, and I clearly sensed the anxiety in her voice.

I was blessed that I had so many people to help me take care of Rabiya, even in the absence of Rohaan. Alhumdulillah.

Currently Anabia Mama was pacing around, holding my daughter in her arms, softly speaking to a half-asleep Rabiya.

Meanwhile, I was folding up clean laundry. It was almost funny, the difference between Rohaan's black/dark clothes, and mine and Rabiya's pinks and pastel-colours clothes.

"Somehow being a Dado makes me feel older than being a Nano did." My mother-in-law laughed.

She had no idea that her elder son was currently on his way to Manchester, along with his sister, because her younger son was suffering and needed help. I didn't want to tell her, and Rohaan didn't want that either. He wanted to go and take care of Arsal Bhai, only willing to involve the parents if it was strictly necessary.

"My Mama said the same when Bunny was born." Anabia Mama looked at me.

I smiled weakly.

"Yamna, leave it all and get some rest. I'll help you with these chores."

"No, Anabia Mama, it's okay.  I need to do something." I said. "I'm fine."

"Honey, you might feel fine, but your body is still healing, remember? Please don't overdo it, okay?"
