We'd barely stepped out into arrivals when I heard my nephews yelling. I turned my head and saw them running towards me, with little Maham following behind.
I grinned and crouched down as the boys launched themselves at me.
"Where have you been, man?" Ali asked me once the greetings were done.
"Yeah! Haven't seen you in ages!" Arham nodded.
"I had to be there for your Nano, guys."
"Ro Mamu..." Maham finally caught up, panting.
"Come here." I scooped her up in my arms and stood up. "How's my favourite detective?"
"Missed you soooooooooooooooooo much, Mamu!" She spread her arms out as widely as she could before wrapping them around my neck.
"I missed you too, cutie." I kissed her cheek.
My sisters were here, as well as Arsal and Shayaan. We all greeted each other, with Mama paying special attention to Hoor.
"Why are you inconveniencing yourself, honey?" Our mother asked Hoor. "It's almost time. You should be at home, resting."
"I missed you guys." Hoor replied, hugging Mama tightly.
"Yo." Shayaan walked over to me after he'd greeted the elders.
"Hey, Shayaan." I patted his back, hard enough for him to wince.
"Get some rest then come for football in the park later." Shayaan told me. "Harry will be there too. Call Ahmed."
"Shayaan, he just got off the plane." Mamu told him off.
