"Meeting the one you betrayed is facing the mirror of your past deeds."
"Sir, Coffee." The maid placed the coffee on my table. I nodded and she went away. I closed the laptop and took the coffee mug, its fresh aroma relaxed my mind as I sipped it. Aarohi had not been home yet. I glanced at my phone and saw her message that she will be here in some minutes and she is bringing someone. Strange, she doesn't bring anyone home usually maybe someone special.
"Ekansh! I am here." I smiled hearing Aarohi's exicted voice from below. I kept down the coffee and walked out of my study room to see her, but my happiness didn't last long seeing the sight infront of me.
As I laid eyes on the unexpected guest Aarohi brought into our penthouse, a surge of disbelief and fury coursed through me.
The one who had betrayed me, stood before me, her presence a haunting reminder of betrayal and shattered trust.
The sight of her ignited a firestorm of emotions within me, each flame fueled by the memories of our past. The pain of her betrayal, the scars she left behind, they all resurfaced with a vengeance, threatening to consume me whole.
Anger, like molten lava, surged through my veins, pulsating with an intensity I could barely contain.
How dare she? How could she have the audacity to enter my life again, after everything she had done? The very thought of her presence in my sanctum filled me with an overwhelming sense of indignation.
"Ekansh! Why are you standing there? Come down, see I have someone to introduce to you!" Aarohi beamed at me smiling not knowing what effect the special guest she has brought had over me.
The descended the stairs still looking at her trying the control the pool of anger inside me and not to burst out infront of Aarohi.
As she stood before me, her gaze a mosaic of remorse and defiance, yet another drama of her. She stood there in nervousness and tears in her eyes maybe again to fool the people around her. Pathetic.
As her presence lingered before me, all I could feel was the searing heat of betrayal, burning bright against the backdrop of our shattered love.
"Ekansh, She is Maya. She will work here from now on." Aarohi said holding my hand.
"Why did you brought her here? We already have enough of servants right? Then why did you bring another one?" I said in a hushed voice but made sure that she hears it.
