"It's a dream." She cried, hitting harder, making it bleed.
Ekansh looked at her shocked and stopped the car immediately. She kept hitting he held her hand
"What are you doing!" He held her hand preventing her from hitting herself while she kept struggling.
He hugged her. "Maya, it's not dream. Stop."
Maya cried trying to get out of his hold.
"I want to come out of this! It's not real." She wails.
Ekansh blinks his eyes controlling the tears looking at her in his arms.
''It's not a dream, it's not.'' He whispers trying to control her.
She pushes him. "No, no. Everyone will come again. And, and, all... those h-happy moments will fa... fade away."
She sobbed.
Ekansh held her so she doesn't hurt herself.
She shook her head getting panicked. She looked down, her eyes going wide. She shivered holding her stomach, She saw blood staining her clothes. She screamed as it smeared to her hands... her whole stomach covered with blood.
She looked at Ekansh wide eyed sobbing. Her hand shivering.
"Ekansh... blood." She whispered in between her cries making him confused.
She was holding her belly.
"My child." She wailed.
Ekansh hugged her tightly crying. He held her hand thinking she was talking about her hand but she kept clenching her stomach. "Blood is coming... my baby." She sobbed showing him other hand which she was hallucinating as covered with blood.
"Maya... listen."
He held her face making her look at him.
"There's nothing. You're fine. You're fine." He wiped her tears trying to make her understand.
"No.. no.. my child is dying, ekansh. Blood. See... blood."
She kept pointing to her belly panicking and looking at him. He slapped her.
He hugged her crying. She calmed down.
"It will be fine."
She squeezed her eyes shut, tears coming out.
"Let's go home first." He whispered leaving her. He made her sit comfortably and put on her seatbelt and started driving to the penthouse while she sat silently.
After reaching he took her to her room and made her sleep. He sat beside her for some time thinking of what happened in the car. He was scared seeing her like that. He didn't know if it's happening first time or it happened in the past too.
"No, no... everyone will come again."
He remembered her words. She said again. So this was not the first time. He thought and went out of the room.
