"You are still awake?"

Maya kept the phone down and looked towards Ekansh who just came home. It was 11 in the night, Maya was waiting for him in the living room.

"You are the one keeping me awake." Maya replied placing her arm over the head rest and supporting her head on her hand. She stared at me with dreamy eyes making Ekansh swoon over the beauty and seduction her eyes held.

Ekansh bent down and kissed her on her forehead lovingly. Automatically Maya's eyes closed feeling blissfull.

"I missed you lot today." Ekansh exclaimed running his hand in her hair feeling it's softness.

"You say that everyday Mr. Rajvanshi." Maya chuckled getting up and removed his blazer loosening his tie.

They both walked up to their room.

"Go and freshen up quick, I will heat the food."

Ekansh nodded. Maya went back towards to the kitchen and reheated the food for them.

"Why didn't you eat?" Ekansh asked as Maya served him. He raised his brow asking her. She knew he doesn't like it when she doesn't eat on time but she can't help waiting for him, She had developed the habit of eating with him.

"I couldn't eat without you."

Ekansh made a bite and fed her.

"I have told you several times not to wait for me. What if I will not be with you? Then how will you eat." He said without thinking about his words.

Maya was frozen on her place due to his words.

Her whole self gripped in fear by the words he uttered, which was even unimaginable in her dreams also.

"Why did you say that?"

Ekansh stopped realizing the impact of his words.

He looked at her anxious face and shook his head. "It just rolled out of my tongue, don't take it seriously."

"You won't leave me ever right? If you do I will die that moment-"

"Stop!" Ekansh glared at her stopping her from speaking further. The thought of it only dreaded his heart.

"Don't you dare speak like that! Why would I ever do that? Stop overthinking."

He scolded brushing his thumb against the single tear in corner of her eyes.

"Then why did you speak of not being with me?"

Maya bit her lip in fear. She was sure that if she lost him also she would be just a living corpse if not dead already. He had became her entire world surrounding her in these few months and losing him means losing herself now.

"Ok, Sorry love."

Maya gave him a smile which relaxed him a little.

Ekansh took another bite and fed her.
"Nothing would separate us. If some circumstances like that comes also, our love is stronger to tackle it."

Maya smiled.

She had the perfect man as her husband, isn't she is the luckier one?

She kept staring at him, debating if she should ask him or not. Ekansh stopped eating feeling her gaze on him.
